This only proves to me we are more than friends
Because friends would have drifted away by now
It proves we are *family

As Mrs. Ragan shoved
An Aladdin mug
In my face as I
Gained consciousness

My first seizure

Dooming Depression
I had no friends
I hated everyone
And everything
But mostly
I hated myself

Wishing I had drowned
Or never woke up from

You are the one person who has been a constant
I see the open bible, marked from head to toe
On your skin, the verses alive inside if your heart
Positivity seeps from you're pores, gleaming
And I've never met someone who genuinely listens
I've never met someone who is funny,
Without using these ****** jokes, these negative words
You've never cursed in your life, you remain pure
You don't sink low as to talk about others,
You're faith is deep rooted, and no wind can shake you
Yet your eyes are soft, easy to lock in and feel at home
Every time I'm with you, I feel my spirit lifted,
I feel myself become the very best I could ever be
My role model, I strive everyday to be more like you
No I'm not crushing on her, she's my best friend living far away. I realized how much I miss her

Try, though I do, I will never be like her

How would we have known we would wash away?
As two solemn searching souls, together to the sea
Amongst the creatures underneath the deepening
Holding to the flame burning you and me

We sacrifice the talk and praise the eyes in all wonder and amazement
And notice every star floating in the arms of symmetry so ageless
This is not mine. It is a clip of lyrics from Chuck Ragan's song "Symmetry" of the album "Feast or Famine." I thought others here might enjoy it as I do.(Google him if you like this, as he's quite poetic in many songs)
