All it tends to do
Is make me grimace
When people operate off
Of the false premus
That the color of their skin
Make them supremacists
Cuz I take on the role
Of polemicist

Hate’s in vogue
Once again
Some people wonder
Did it ever end?
Others take comfort
If they pretend
That we’re postracial now
So let’s begin

Some people like to
Fan the racial flames
I don’t think it’s necessary
For me to name the names
Anyway you slice it
They’re playing dangerous games
By insisting on making all kinds
Of outrageous claims

We’re all equal
In the sight of God
To pretend differently
Is called fraud
If that describes you
Then your thinking's flawed
See we all have value
And we should be awed

Typical, miserable
Modern life listical
Sticky note overload,
Stuck in a
Cyclical
Course of correction
Yet barely
Dirigible
Sense of direction
I aim for perfection
But always fall short
Through disorganized
Scatterbrained
Thoughts have to sort
Through the stress-induced fog
To dispel the despair
And repair it with
Documents left to prepare
For performance evals
And a palace of somber
Senescence
Deep into the night
Do I ponder
And wonder how much
Longer, I must endure
An existence in which
Only loveless allures
Me to strive for the end
Of the infinite
Endlessness
Watching the world
Melt away
Like my sentences
Leak on the page
Of polemicist rhetoric
Nobody cares
So I drain it of sentiment
Grin and I bare
The next day’s
Falling tenement

Are you sure your right / forever / if so / how lucky can one be / but what happens now / I’m cancelled / as the star of James TV / I can see your protecting arms around others / but there’s little space for me

A puritan polemicist / who’d dare argue with you / but they say if you truly want to lead / then you need to listen too

Let’s examine this apple / it’s bright and red and round / would you like to share it / slice it / lick it / choke it / then toss it to the ground / in the same way you treat nuance / as the sheriff of this town

If you’ve solved the world / then I’m so proud of you / I’ll keep on / forging my way / fumbling on / making mistakes / knowing it won’t be long / until your cancelled too

Because what you believe now my love / soon will not be true / and when it’s not / in a shot / we’ll all be judging you!

Poverty is the worst form of violence
A rebel once, is a rebel forever
I'd die standing, than to live barely breathing
But, the government
Would rather laugh at my crippling disease
I can't stop making living a form of suicide
So, I'll leave it to you
To give peace a chance to decide
But, when the government steals our vote
A nation of millions will be voting peace

A polemicist writer encouraged
Without a brass farthing in his trousers
"Follow your inner moonlight..."
"Knowing is not enough..."
But, the government
Won't even let me speak let alone complete
I'm sick, of this ****** suicide
Which steals speech
However, when the courts close on Tuesday
We will buy flowers for the people and be loved
And a beggar will die a peaceful death
