Away from the sun
Pale gets warmer
Never number one
Ashes get colder

And the Myans predicted
Only time will tell
Just swimming in my personal hell

We're all sitting ducks
Please hold me tight
Though the night

I’m a crow perched on
A telephone pole
Just waiting for the worms

Lightning comes
I am numb
On the road

Misunderstood
The dove sought after
A change for good
A chance shot at her

Fly with the crow
I want to yell
Swimming in my personal hell

Studying the nest
Bulimic rests
In the throat

And the eagle
Iconic white
If only his mind was right

He’d know that his dove
Has fallen in love
With a crow

Time heals wounds
But it also kills slowly
The dove’s heart grew
Yet blood stopped pumping

Pain felt the crow
As the bells tolled
Swimming in his personal hell

All life aside
He dove through the lake
Drowned and died

Drifting away
No longer felt pain
Free to escape
See the dove again

And the clear water
Drew a surprise
As the tears swept softy from my eyes

There laid the dove
Sent from above
Waiting for me

Drifting away
Drifting away
Drifting away
Drifting away

Time is such a messed up thing isn't it..?
There's never enough of it is there...?
It either crawls by when you're waiting for something
or it flies by when you're having fun.
I hate living by a clock.
It seems so silly.
I would rather watch the sand fall in an hour glass than
watch the hands tick on a clock.
I would prefer there be no time at all.
I would like to not have to live by a clock.
I'm always in a rush, always running behind.
And it's all because of time.
I get paid according to hours.
I get off work according to a clock.
I make money by the amount of time I work.
A thing an inanimate object runs my life...
How messed up is that?
It's of the essence they say.
It flies by they say.
Blink and it's gone.
Mess around and lose it.
Lose too much and regret it.
Use it wisely and you'll be more productive.
Cherish it for it goes by quickly.
Take time to smell the roses.
Make time for the things you love.
I wish I had more time for that.
What a contradiction time is.
What a rat race we all live in.
Enjoy the time you get while you're here because you can't get it back.
Time is something you can't ever get back.
How sad is that?
You can't go back only forward.
Sometimes I want to go back.
Only in your mind can you back track in time.
Memories are made in time.
All things heal with time they say.
Time, love, and tenderness heals a broken heart I guess.
I just don't get it.
I just don't understand.
Stupid Myans why did they invent this?
You can reflect on time and look back on it but you can't stop it.
You can't get it back no matter how hard you try.
Time well spent.
I have to leave your side according to the time on the clock.
I make love to you as the minutes rush on by.
I hold you so tight cause I don't want to ever let you go.
But somehow I can't ever hold you tight enough to make the time slow.
I think i've come to the conclusion that time just *****!
It dictates way too much!!!

What is real?
I can't see it but I can feel
Is it lust? Is it fire?
Is it only appealing to my desire?
Is wrong is it right?
Should I put up a fight?
I once read it was either
A test of my faith,
will I stand firm
Or teeter
Will it destroy my heart
Rip it out and tear it apart?
Like the myans of old
Sacrificing all I own
Theives, they steal
Take & only reveal
lust for power
not a tower
Of refuge
They are hills
Crumbling and stumbling
With nothing but feels
no foundation
No peace of mind
empty philosophy
is all you find
Realistically
The answer is deeper
It is not hidden or confusing
It is something to live for
Stronger and taller
Than the highest height
emptying thrones
bringing the truth to light
More powerful
than your mind
a treasure of gold
is what you'll find

We gave birth to Einstein
E=mc² was the formula
We sat down at the spinal cord
Of a milky way to create
We were breathing Star dust
And had cosmic fireworks as our blood
Gravity taught us to sink our feet into the dense sand of Earth
And watch the moon orbiting around us
At once we held it with our bare hands and taught it to wait for the sun in total eclipse
We are the Myans
We gave the sky names as we watched Orion the hunter chasing planets
And the southern Cross giving him directions
We were the Ancient Egyptians
We calculated the earth's spin on its exis
And foretold the future that is now
We were the builders of Noah's ark
And taught the world everything it knows
We dropped the apple that Eve ate at the garden of eden
And the one that fell on Sir Isaac Newton's face
We are the ones Ancient Philosophers spoke off
Our arrival has been awaited

We are the class of physics
