Ludwig Ii

A Bavarian King with no bone bad
A Bavarian King introverted not mad
A king who lived life by night
A king who stayed out of sight

The Swan king was his given name
from Bavarian bloodstock he came Maximilians Death took away his youth
On throne pomp splendoured and couth

Peer pressure never kneel
Twas Opera Ludwig did feel
Robert Wagner was his one true love
Ludwig fitted Wagner hand in glove

A queen, A queen the Bavarians did wish
Lovestruck Elsa dry eyes diminish
Conformity died during Ludwigs reign
His sexuality showed no shame

Lake Starnberg scene of demise
Mystery death .****** or boat capsize
The King ,The King long live the King
Life lived how he chose Ludwig ii

Inspired by my trip to Neuschwanstein Castle last week in Bavaria , Germany
I am the chip off the block
Bloodstock
A shock to the staid
The life of the laid back.
'I
..am alright Jack'

National health
International wealth
I have the key to it all
The cards just need to fall..
..lucky.

In these shambles this rambler makes believe
That this gambler can achieve..
..Immortality.
Immaturity in this..though, this next deal I can't miss..
Four aces.

Three places away..Tens and the way out is sealed.
The cards have been dealed
Hard as it seems
I have to undress my dreams and put them to bed
Then the next thought occurs..the ball's landing in red..
..and I'm fed up..to my back teeth
Which is known locally as bad gamblers grief.

Take a chip off this old block and place it on odds
Fate and those other sods conspire
To make me perspire...it comes up an eight..
..blasted fate.

I'm going to go to a rehab
Have a stab at normality
Another form of immortality?
Let's see.
And finally take one last breath
where hands of Seth
Thomas no longer clock
freed at last from cataclysmic aftershock
reverberating thru every baited cell
after quaking mine flinty bedrock
well nigh since birth zapping bloodstock,

an existence fraught with chronic anxiety/
panic attacks convulsing lovely bones,
where anorexic buttock
evinced ****** need dulled deadlock
cramping puberty averse
to let young manhood defrock
childhood's end aghast

(as would Alfred J. Prufrock)
assisting administering electroshock
coursed across every marrow
buzzfeeding mine famished
emaciated skeletal feedstock
self starvation jamming body electric
grave situation forced hand,

where mother intervened
to break-fast gridlock
i.e. pathologically hell bent
to render null and void yours truly
vanishing into black hole
(son) disappearing mock
curry of pathetic existence,

an arrow escape,
when grim reaper did nock
bowed, deplored, vied
against innate willpower
deadbolted with padlock
suffocating lifeforce pitted
with devastating indelible pock
marks still evident as I schlep

along cratered, gutted, pulverized...
impassable singular stairway to heaven
resembling bombed roadblock
finds me tethered, suspended,
roped... hanging lock
stock and barrel atop gaping abyss
mull echo chamber,
where sounds of silence tick tock.
