EMPTY POTES
Beneath the sun, a brutal glare,
The land it cracks, a sight so bare.
The once-kind stream, a memory's trace,
Leaving parched earth, a lonely space.

The well, it coughs, a sputter weak,
Each precious drop is a treasure to seek.
The caws of crows, a mournful sound,
As life itself struggles to be found.

A mother's touch, so gentle, kind,
But weary eyes, a troubled mind.
For tiny lips, so cracked and dry,
She pleads for rain, a tear in her eye.

The farmer's back, bent with despair,
His once green fields, a barren share.
His withering crops, a silent plea,
For life-giving rain, to set them free.

But hope remains, a flickering ember,
That clouds will gather, skies remember.
To quench the thirst, of land and soul,
And make life whole, once more to behold.

For even in the harshest clime,
Compassion flows, transcending time.
With helping hands, and spirits strong,
We'll weather this storm, and carry on.

Cast from the garden, beneath skies less fair,
Eve's burden to bear, a world to repair.
Yet, in her beauty, a strength did reside,
The will to survive, the future as a guide.

Mother of all, with resilience untold,
Beauty's new purpose, braver and bold.
Not just a vision, but a spirit untamed,
Eve, the first woman, is forever unnamed.

A serpent's whisper, a tempting deceit,
Knowledge is forbidden, a bitter-sweet treat.
Eve, with a curious gaze, reached for the unknown,
Beauty's reflection, a seed was now sown.

The fig leaf's disguise, a figment of shame,
Lost innocence whispered, a world now aflame.
Beauty forever entwined with desire,
A spark ignited, a consuming fire.

Unblemished
Eve, unblemished, in Eden's embrace,
Where sunlight kissed skin, a sacred space.
No need for adornment, nature's own art,
A perfect form, a guileless heart.

In pools that mirrored the cerulean sky,
Her beauty reflected a truth that couldn't lie.
Innocence bloomed, untainted by shame,
A world unburdened, whispering her name.

My spirit, entwined, a part of your light,
Yearns to forever reside in your sight.
Born from a spark of the divine's embrace,
This human shell, a vessel for sacred grace.

Each breath unfolds, a purpose unknown,
Yet all I offer, freely it's shown.
This mortal form, a fleeting delight,
While love's eternal flame burns ever bright.

Crafted by hands unseen, a flawless design,
My body, your temple, forever entwined.
Flesh and bone, a testament to love's art,
Belonging not to me, but to a boundless heart.

Oh, lead me where blooms unfurl their sweet scent,
To love all creation, with no dissent.
May this earthly joy return, ever new,
As my soul embarks on a journey to you.

Onstage she stands, a vision bright,
Confidence is a guiding light.
Not judged by curves, a form defined,
But by strength and grace, she's refined.

Her dress may flow, a mermaid's dream,
But in her heart, a powerful stream.
She carries oceans, vast and deep,
Where pearls of wisdom softly sleep.

Her smile, a sunrise, warm and true,
Her eyes reflect the endless blue.
No need for shells on skin so bare,
Her inner beauty, a treasure rare.

So let her shine, this ocean's queen,
With wit and heart, a radiant scene.
For beauty lies not in a shell's embrace,
But in the spirit's boundless grace.

WRECKAGE
Though kingdoms crumble, crowns collect but dust,
And hearts once paired now beat a lonely drum,
Our springtime's bloom may fade, love, turn to rust,
Yet in this wreckage, hope's bright flame can come.

The monarchs may have faltered, lost their way,
But in the ashes, embers softly glow.
We, once bystanders, watch the empires stray,
But from these ruins, stronger love can grow.

Let fallen thrones be lessons, not our guide,
Let solitude ignite a fiercer spark.
Together we can build, where others died,
A love that rises, soaring in the dark.

With weathered hands, but spirits unconfined,
We'll forge a kingdom, you and I, entwined.
