i dreamed i saw an angel while i was in my sleep
flying round her heaven in my sleep so deep
it was so serene it made me feel so calm
i felt very safe sheltered from all harm
she played up on her harp a lovely melody
playing me a tune in perfect harmony
everything was tranquil as peaceful as can be
and i know in heaven waits a place for me

i saw a little angel in my sleep one night
sat there in my dream in a dress so very white

with a little halo reflecting in the light
shining all around her so very very bright

she had flowing hair as lovely as can be
it made me feel so safe knowing she was watching me

i saw a band of angels in my dream one night
each one had a halo and a gown of white
they had great big wings and sat up on a cloud
sat there playing harps sat there in a crowd.

everything was peaceful it took my breath away
i sat there and listened as they began to play
such a lovely dream it brought peace to me
i wont forget my dream or the angels i could see.

an angel came to me in my dream one night

she was very beautiful in a gown of white

she took me by the hand and flew away with me

to her home in heaven in her land so free.



everything was peaceful quiet and so calm

now i know that heaven is really up above

a place so very beautiful filled with so much love



when my time has come i know where i will be

i wouldnt be with out her shes my everything

they say there is a place when life come to its end
in heaven up above with angels as your friend
watching over you in there land of peace

i dug myself a trench to put some ashes in
made 8 foot long so they would all fit in
i put them in really quickly like filling in a hole
now granny she is bigger and such a happy soul

5 foot when she started she couldnt reach the shelf
now she got much bigger no longer just an elf
dosent need a ladder she is ladder free
tallest angel up in heaven she will always be

i sat and watched an angel sat beneath a tree
playing on her harp a lovely melody
plcking on the strings picking every note
the tune was so emotional my heart began to float

she had flowing hair as lovely as can be
sitting there so beautiful playing just for me
when she finished playing she spread her wings and flew
back up to her heaven in the sky so blue

I dreamed i saw an angel she was dressed in white
she had golden hair and wings so big and bright
she held on to my hand then took me into space
high above the clouds to a special place
there were lots of angels gathered all around
each one had a harp that made a lovely sound
it was very peaceful  as tranquil as can be
i felt i was in heaven and my life was oh so free
i know there is a heaven ive been there to see.

they say that when we die to heaven we will go
with our big white wings and big halo
flying with the angels way up high above
where everything is peaceful in there world of love

no more hurt or pain you can rest in peace
worrries and your troubles will now come to cease

is there really heaven with angels everywhere

do they have white wings that help to make them fly

is heaven where we go to if and when we die.



one day we may see.  then we will really know

if angels are up there when its time to go
