there was a little bear he lived in the wood
he was well behaved and always very good
always used his manners just as he was tought
and for every body he always had a thought.

one day in the woods as he was passing by
suddenly from no where he heard a little cry
he moved a little closer so he could hear the pitch
there he saw an hedgehog who had fallen in a ditch

he was very sad and he began to cry
followed by a sniffle and a great big sigh
dont worry said the bear i know what to
i will get a branch and hand it down to you

bear he got the branch from a fallen tree
handed it to hedgehog to climb up and be free
hedgehog he got out to the forest floor
happy once again he was free once more

hedgehog thanked the bear and went along his way
now there the best of friends bear had saved the day.

there was a little hamster he just love to spin
with his little wheel that he just climbed in
spinning round in circles pushing with his feet
he was very lovely and very very sweet.

going round and round as fast as fast can be
looking through his cage looking straight at me
i watched him for while till the wheel had stopped
he was getting tired so in his bed he hopped.

then fell fast asleep with his head still in a spin
in his little cage that was made of tin.

there was a little  poodle he was very white
he longed to be santa on a  christmas night
climbing down the chimneys with his santa sack
filled with lots of presents hanging from his back
he climbed down a chimney  covered in black soot
the poodle had turned black covered head to foot
this it didnt stop him and spoil his christmas night
he could take a bath and once again be white

there was a little dolphin he lived in the sea
swimming in the ocean so wild and very free
one day when he was swimming he heard a little yell
where the sound was coming from he really could not tell
he moved a little closer with is sonar sense
searching in the **** so very thick and dense
then he saw a turtle crying in the ****
poor chap was stuck in between the reed
dolphin he was clever and and knew just what to do
hang on to my tail said he said and i will pull you through
turtle he was glad and no longer in the ****
dolphin he was happy now that he was freed

i like to watch the squirrels climbing through  the trees
looking for there nuts in the summer breeze
jumping branch to branch having lots of fun
happy as can be in the summer sun
roaming round floor roaming all around
looking for a snack all along the ground
then back up its tree into its little hole
this furry little creature is a lovely soul

there was a little polar bear he was feeling blue
he lost his mum and didnt know what to
he sat on the ice and he began to cry
noticed by a penguin who was gently passing by
what is wrong asked penguin is there something i can do
the bear he told his story why he was so blue
dont worry said the penguin come along with me
we will look together to see where she might be
then they  heard a roar  it was mummy bear
there she is said penguin standing over there
little bear was happy  and cuddled in to mum
thanked the little penguin his best friend and his chum

your best friend is a good friend the best you ever had
always there beside you when things start going bad
a rock the you can lean on.  always there for you
always there to lend a hand there to pull you through.

someone to confide in help to keep you strong
there to give you comfort when every thing is wrong
giving you support to the very end
your buddy and your rock also your best friend

i wish i was a dolphin if only for a day
with his spirit free as he begins to play
swimming in the ocean having lots of fun

there was a little otter he was adventure bound
he just love to back pack and have a roam around
he roamed around the country moving everyday
finding different places somewhere he could stay
one day on his travels he heard a funny sound
it was near by so he took a look around
then he saw a badger  trying to break free
he had got his head stuck in between a tree
stuck between the branches his head was stuck inside
from the forest tree his head it wouldnt slide
otter he was clever and chewed the branch away
something he was used to he does it everyday.

badger he was free  to roam again once more
so he headed of along the forest floor
otter waved goodbye as he walked away
doing something good had really made his day.

he just carried on and away he went
till it was time to sleep and pitch his little tent
then he crawled in side and made his little bed
then fall fast asleep to rest his weary head

there was a little monkey he played the violin
he just love to hold it with his little chin
he would use the bow pulling to and fro
from his violin his music it would flow

he had a dream that oneday famous he would be
a violinist of the best go down in history
he praticed everyday two hours maybe more
until everthing was perfect for his music score

there was a competition to play the albert all
monkey  stood in line waiting for his call
then came his time to play he would do is best
to be the best of all and beat all the rest

he began to play the crowd he did amaze
playing with such skill they were in a daze
they shouted out for more and stood up on there feet
monkey he was proud it made him feel complete

monkey he had won now a music star
people came to see from near and a far
now he travels global for all the world to see
all around the world famous now is he

there was a little dog he  heard on the news
he had won a holiday a mini weekend cruise
he packed up his case packed it nice and neat
and his favorite thing his little doggie  treat
boarded on his ship and sailed away from shore
headed to America bound for Baltimore
then sailed on again across the sea so blue
hawaii was the venue the next one in the que
he really liked it there underneath the sun
sitting in his deck chair and having lots of fun
sailed on yet again  to  canary isle
took a look around and stayed there for a awhile
then back to his ship heading home once more
sailed beneath the sun to his homeland shore

there was a little mole is name was mickey finn
and inside a hole mickey he lived in
it was very dark there wasnt any light
mickey didnt know if it was day or night
so he bought a torch so he could get around
see where he was going while underneath the ground
like a little miner looking for his coal
he just kept on digging a busy little soul
then when he got  tired time to say goodnight
he climbed into his bed and turned out his light

alfred burnt the cakes forgot that they were there
all he saw was smoke rising in the air.

every cake was burnt everything was gone
burnt down to a crisp he was left with none.

there was a little wombat he lived in the wild
somewhere in australia a proper natures child
he would make big burrows that he made his home
where he would hide from dingos when they were on the roam.

he would jump inside so he could get away
for the roaming dingo the wombat was his prey
he would live on grass eat shrubs and chew on bark
a happy little chap as happy as lark.

such a lovely creature so beautiful is he
all cuddly and so furry a lovely site to see.

there once was a polar bear he was big and white
  so beautiful took look  at and such a lovely sight.
he lived in a country where there was cold and ice.
  and to the polar bear. this was very nice.

one day while out walking he heard a penguin cry
so he went to have a look and see the reason why.
the penguin  he was  stuck on an iceberg near by
he couldnt get back down cause because he couldnt fly.

the polar bear stood up. so he was nice and tall
jump in to my arms he said i wont let you fall
bear he saved the penguin he was stuck no more
then strolled away together along the icy floor.

i was in the garden i heard bluebell ring
standing there alone a lonely little thing.

ringing out his tune so gentle and so sweet
such  a pretty tune it made me tap my feet.

a lovely melody like a symphony
standing in my garden he played his song for me.

i saw a funny thing just the other day
a crane fly with a turban came flying by my way
he had little bombs fastenend to his wings
with a belt of bullets and grenade and things

like something from a movie
he looked a proper baddie
a british daddy long legs
that had joined jihaddy

a plane it has gone missing causing such a fright
no where to be found completely out of sight
theres no sign of wreckage on the land or see
no clues  where it is just a mystery.
passengers on board no where to be found
navy and the air force searching all around
relatives in panic  loved ones they are gone
no one will give up the search still carries on
we will have to wait only time will tell
and hope they find the plane and the passengers safe and well

my cat he chased a bird up my willow tree
the bird was very scared shaking bad was he
he went a shade of pale very very white
his heart was pounding fast he had such a fright
i took the cat in doors he knew that i was mad
i locked him up inside and told him he was bad
went back to the bird got him from the tree
he was very scared and flew upon my knee
he sat there a while to forget about his scare
then off he flew again high up in the air
now when in the garden and theres birds about
the cat he stays indoors and i dont let him out

little millie mole she loved to watch tv
to be a tv star she just long to be
starring in a movie or a  tv show
to be a famous star that everyone would know.

oneday she decided she would have a go
auditioned for a part in a tv show
she rehearsed her lines what she had say
millie got the part in a tv play.

she became a star of movie and tv
and became a star like she longed to be
a favourite of the people they just love her so
when ever they saw millie it gave there heart a glow.

they all loved the mole they came from near and far
just to get an autograph from this little star.

we should save the elephants before they all are gone
the way that things are going soon there will be none
poachers with there guns make them dwindle every day
leaving them to die while they take there tusks away
collecting all there ivory selling over shore
for there need for greed going back for more
it is such a sin to see them die this way
getting less and less every single day
we should try to save them  bring them back once more
get rid of all the poachers and there numbers will restore

i saw little ladybird it landed on my head walking through my hair looking for a bed
roaming round my head walking round and round as quiet as a  mouse it didnt make a sound
then the moving stopped and then he flew away  perhaps he may come back again on another day.

i remember hippies all those years ago
and a place call woodstock where they used to go
spreading words of peace and an end to war
only flower power and be free again once more
they flocked in there thousands to the woodstock ground
singing songs of love spreading love around
but that was years ago now the hippies  have all gone
no one left to spread there peace or carry there love on

the animals in the forest had a birthday do
it was rabbits birthday rabbit he was two
squirrel laid the table with lots of things to eat
made a birthday cake rabbits birthday treat.

badger got the chairs  so they had a seat
spread them round the table spread them nice and neat
the birds sang happy birthday everyone joined in
now the time was ready for the party to begin.

there were big balloons hanging in the trees
blowing very gently in the summer breeze
they played lots of games having lots of fun
rabbit he was happy is party had begun.

then they all down it was time to eat
time to  blow the candles out to make the day complete
rabbit took a breath and blew is candles out
happy birthday rabbit they began to shout.

now a year older another birthday gone
he cant wait till next year to have another one.

he said he would read my fortune
if i stepped inside read into my future and what it had to hide

that i would find a loved one then one heart would be two
said i would settle down with a family
happiness and love there would always be
then i met a stranger while walking home that night
who i fell in love with the gypsy he was right
we settled down together and raised a family
the gypsy knew my future and told it all to me

i saw a little mouse and fed him with some cheese
then suddenly the mouse he began to sneeze
the poor chap looked ill like he had the flu
i took him to the vet to see what he could do
then he looked at him examining around
looking everywhere with no flu to  be found
it must have been the cheese he said he has an allergy
when he ate the cheese with him did not agree
so i took him home and gave him cheese no more
now the mouse is well again just like he was before

i like to watch the sheepdog rounding up the sheep
first a little run then a gentle creep
rounding up the herd as gentle as can be
drives them to a pen a clever dog his he

listens to his master to his whistle blow
so he understands which way he has to go
always very faithful by his masters side
just to watch the sheepdog fills my heart with pride.

now it boxing day and the bargains they are on
got to get there early before the bargains gone
standing in a cue waiting in a line
hope that its not raining and the weathers fine
waiting there for hours standing patiently
hoping that theres someting thats there left for me
until then i will wait for what i am looking for
take home with me until boxing day once more

life it can be hurtful in its different ways
life is up and down has its different days
it can hurt so bad leave you in a mess
break your heart in two leave you in distress
take your love away  from the one you knew
take away your happiness make your world turn blue
life it can be hurtful for each and everyone
but you learn to cope and make life carry on

i bought myself a parrot to keep me company
i taught him how to talk now he talks to me
we have conversations on many different things
no matter what it is or what the topic brings
he his very clever and a friend to me
and without him now i could never be

there is a man called banksy he paints upon a wall
sprays on any building either big or small
a painter of renown a famous man is he
painting pictures every where for all the world to see
a superstar of art an icon we all know
everyone knows banksy no matter where you go

rid the world of poverty take it all away
no more people starving each and everyday
give them what need in order to survive
take away the poverty keep them all alive

fill them full of hope and strength to carry on
take away the poverty till,it all has gone
give the world your blessing  say a little prayer
let them live again show them that you care.

there was a little budgie he just love to sing
he was very clever and could sing almost anything
he loved the karaoke down the local  bar
hoping maybe someday he could be a star.

they held a competition so they could find the best
budgie made his entry to him it was a test
then he began to sing in his budgie voice
and won the competition he was the peoples choice.

now he was a star his dream it had come
he sings all time just like budgies do

we all make mistakes that we can never change
no way of going back no way to rearrange.

we cant make it better no matter what we do
the past is in the past mistakes we made a few.

what is done is  done we cant take it back
put them all behind and get life back on track.

take it day by day start again a new
leave mistakes behind is all that you can do.

love can be deceitful  it can twist and turn
send you back for more you just never learn
it can make you cheat and tear your life apart
bring you down to tears and leave a broken heart
it  can  be so hurtful and break you down inside
make you want to run but theres no place to hide
thats what love can do so handle it with care
before you fall in love make sure love is there

world is changing fast changing for the worse
typhoons and hurricanes have now become a curse
icebergs they melting in the climate change
weather as gone mad acting very strange
a global warming planet as made act this way
changing for the worse every single day

i had little poodle he just loved a bath
when the bubbles popped all he did was laugh
he liked to watch the water running down the hole
happy and content this lovely little soul
he  liked getting dry by shaking up his skin
then i would get a towel that i could wrap him in
then  i would brush fur  and make him look brand new
without my little poodle i dont know what  i would do

there was a little lion who one day would be king
the master of the jungle lovely little thing
he would have a crown of his very own
and just like a king he would have a throne
oneday in the jungle  as he was passing through
he came across a rhino he was sad a blue
i have lost my way he said and dont what to do
lion he was clever and he knew his way
and he knew the place where all the rhinos stray
follow me said lion i will take you back
of they went together down the jungle track
they walked for while when suddenly in view
they saw a lot of rhinos there was quite a few
lion he was happy that he had found the way
and glad that he could help the little rhino stray
what the lion did was such a clever thing
proved he had the makings of a proper jungle king

there was a little mouse he loved a fairground ride
on the roller coaster he just love to glide
sliding riding the bends going very fast
waving to the crowd as he was going past

riding on the ghost train gave him such delight
skeletons and ghouls gave him such a fright.
riding on the track feeling every bump
then a big loud scream this it made him jump.

then on to the dipper high up in the air
travelling so fast he just love the scare.
going oh so fast it  would quickly dash
running through the water making such a splash

when his fun was over he took a rest and then
waiting for tomorrow to do it all again

little danny dog adventure bound was he
he built himself a boat and set out to sea
sailing on the ocean underneath the sun
looking for adventure in search of lots of fun.

after quite a while a day or maybe more
he saw a little island on a foriegn shore
dog he went ashore to see what there could be
there was lots of sand a big palm tree.

then walked around ready to explore
to see what he could find on the island shore
suddenly he saw a parrot in a tree
hello the parrot said come and play with me.

danny was delighted and they began to play
having lots fun in this land so far away
playing in the sand swimming in the sea
dog was having fun as happy as can be.

then they had a picnic with lots of food to eat
laid out on a blanket also nice and neat
then the sun when down time for doggys bed
he made himself a hammock to rest his weary head.

with parrot by his side they both began to snore
his adventure had been fun on this foriegn shore

then a mighty pounce as he begins to bite
bringing down his prey to fill his appetite
then a little rest before he hunts once more
such a lovely creature something i adore.
