when autmun comes around trees begin to bare
gone now are the leaves now no longer there
branches are now empty leaves cannot be seen
only empty branches where the leaves have been

a season of the year one that we all know
paints an autumn scene that gives your heart a glow
natures work of art as summer passes bye
as the sun comes shinging through in the autumn  sky

i like too watch the badger roaming through the night
with his furry coat with colors black and white
such a lovely creature so beautiful to see
wandering through the fields so very wild and free
underneath the moon shining oh so bright
just to watch the badger brings me such delight
he  never seems to rush he takes it nice and slow
this creature of the night gives life such a glow

love is like a flower it will grow and thrive
but when the petals fall it can take a dive
if you keep the seed it will grow once more
bigger and much stronger than it was before
it will bloom forever  for eternally
like the seed of love it is meant to be

dear me i love you more than i can say
when looking  in the mirror i love you more each day
when i comb your hair you look back at me
someone  i love dearly.  is all i ever see

the mirrors on the ceiling tell me i love you so
i love you oh so much more than you will know
i will love you always stronger everyday
my man in the mirror you will always stay

there was a little badger the poet type was he
he loved writing poems while sat beneath a tree
sitting there for hours writing down his ryhme
having lots of fun passing on his time.

writing poems of love. and whatever came to mind
lots of different poems of a different kind.
hoping maybe oneday he would write a book
publish all his work so everyone could look.

then he could be famous a poet of the best
be in the hall of fame just ,like all the rest
just like robbi burns and mr wordsworth too
badger would be happy his dreams would all come true.

my dog began to scratch i think he had a flea
i looked through his fur a flea i couldnt see.

i got his little brush this he liked so much
it bristles they were soft he just loves the touch.

then he scratched again now the only thing to do
was put him a bath  using flea shampoo.

now his fleas are gone he dosent scratch no more
happy and content like he was before.

love can be deceiving love can also lie

it can lead you on then just say goobye

it can be so cruel it can leave despair

when the love you knew really wasnt there



break your heart in pieces shattered on the floor

love has walked away love is there no more

but we must carry on and find a love thats true

replace the love you had that you never really knew

there was a little cow gertrude was her name
she wasnt like the other cows her thoughts were not the same
she long to be a horse as black as black could be
grazing in a field roaming round so free
thats all she ever  wanted  she was rather strange
hoping for the time that someday she would change
then one starry night she saw wishing star
then she made a wish on the star so far
she woke up in the morning and into a horse she grew
gertrude she was happy her wish it had come true.

fighting in iraq is here again once more
now its just the same as it was before
people have to flee  try to get away
homes that they once knew can no longer stay'

yet another war turmoil and despair
people getting killed bodies everywhere
towns are getting taken by the enemy
over run with tyrants now no longer free.

how long will it last we cant really say
it up to goverments to take the war away.

i had a pet canary he would sing all day
up down his ladder how he love to play.

he was very happy as happy as can be
when is cage was open he would come to me.

sit upon my shoulder and sing in to my ear
with is lovely song so very loud and clear.

he sat there a while in his feathered coat
singing oh so beautiful and hitting every note

i like to watch the eagles in the mountains high

spreading out there wings as they gently fly

with elegance and grace flying oh so free

just to watch the eagles is such a sight to see



looking down below looking for some prey

then a mighty swoop as they take there prey away

such a lovely sight one that i adore

i will return tomorrow to watch them fly once more

i saw a band of butterflies with there colors bright
yellow gold and green some were black and white
flying round the flowers all around the trees
hovering in the air on the summer breeze

they filled me with delight such a sight to see
flying everywhere they made me feel so free
showing of  there colors underneath the sun
flying round the plants having so much fun

then they flew away like a squadron in the sky
i watched them as they left as i waved goodbye.

theres a little owl a lovely chap is he
he lives in a field in a great big tree
he has great big eyes. feathers pure white
everytime i see him he fills me with delight.

he likes to look for food very late at night
looking for his prey when the moon is bright
hovers over head till he spots his prey
then a mighty swoop to take is catch away

back in to his tree to enjoy his ****
then falls fast asleep in the night so still.

i made a piece of toast then i added cheese then i put some pepper on this it made me sneeze.

it flew across the room my sneeze had it made it soar  way up in the air and out of my front door.

then i picked it up and took back inside then i threw it the bin my toast had been denied.

i have a little cat a thoughtful chap is he
every now and then brings presents in for me
sometimes its a bird sometimes its a mouse
he leaves them every where all around the house.

he thinks that it is kind bringing gifts for me
though it rather cruel this he doesent see
it is just his instinct.   something that cats do.
but i love him so and he loves me too

life it is a blessing from the lord above
handed down to you from his world of love
so that you can learn the way as life to be
as you walk your path you will plainly see.

a gift that youve been given so that you may live
so you can see the world and all it as to give.
something that is yours handed down with love
handed down to you from the lord above

new year has just past the easter eggs arrive
are they here too soon and will they all survive
will they just go soft in a store with heat
or just run out of date no longer fit to eat
maybe its just habit and stores have got a greed
knowing that at easter the chocolate eggs we need

people they have hobbies me i like to fish

maybe if im lucky catch a tasty dish

it is so relaxing as peaceful as can be

passes on the time makes life seem so free.

happy as can be having fishing fun

passng on the hours waiting for a bite

just to go out fishing fills me with delight.

life is very precious treat very well
what is round the corner we can never tell
treat with respect as it will do to you
life as got last you for your whole through
take each day in steps never try to leap
life is there for ever something you must keep
take in your stride take nice and slow
treat life with respect everywhere you go

i saw a little butterfly on my window pane
sat there all alone in the pouring rain
i  held in my hand and carried him inside
i turned up the heating till the butterfly had dried
he had lots of colors red and blue and green
then there was another  that i have never seen
he flew around the room and walked along the floor
i  knew that he was ready so i opened up the door
the butterfly he flew out and i never saw him anymore.

once the world was peaceful now its seems so strange
each and everyday the world it seems to change
violence on the streets there for all to see
not the friendly world like it used to be.

countries fighting wars people getting killed
all around the world blood is getting spilled
global warming changing the worlds become as mess
changing everthing causing much distress.

whats happened to the world now it seems so strange
guess we sit and wait for the winds of change.

i was raised by mamma there was her and me
always by my side mamma she would be.
she took me to school each and everyday
made sure i was safe that was mamma s way

when ever i was down she would hold me tight
give me all her love made everything alright
always there for me when ever things went wrong
hold me in her arms helped me to be strong.

she was always there to love and comfort me
wiped away my tears so my eyes could see
there to make me smile when ever i was blue
with her loving way she would pull me through.

now im all grown up mammas she is there
still giving me her love and her tender care
a mamma in a million she will always be
always by my side to love and comfort me.

give me all her wisdom and her loving way
tell me that she loves me every single day
with her mammas love she is there for me
a mamma in a million she will always be

looking back in time when the earth was raw
with prehistoric creatures like the dinosaur
there were many others with a big long funny name
with a lots of little cavemen who used them for there game.

they lived in little caves with fires burning bright
deep inside there home  where fires burned all night
they would take there spears and have a look around
looking for some food in there hunting ground.

they would throw there spears until they killed the beast
then they would take it home so they could have a feast
thats the way it was and how it used to be
but now it as all gone and now its history.

i love it by the beach when the sun begins to shine

strolling on the beach when the weathers fine

watching all the children having lots of fun

passing on the hours playing in the sun.


building lots of castles with buckets in the sand

watching mum and dad as they lend a hand

bringing back the memory of all the things i did

playing in the sand when i too was a kid

spring is coming soon and plants begin to grow

mother natures children that bring a spring time glow

ground begins to warm underneath the sun

daffodils appear now spring has begun.



birds begin to sing a happy little song

bringing lots of joy as they bob along

trees begin to bud leaves begin to grow

snowdrops everywhere putting on a show



a lovely time of year that always brings a smile

makes life seem so real and living all worthwhile

people they build barriers locked their self behind

they just never tell you what is on there mind

keep it to them self hidden out of view

there behind there barrier hiding it from you.



maybe we could help if they just let us know

help them drop their barrier help to let them go

take away the wall that they built so high

tell us what the reason and and tell us what the why

every day is different than the one before
another day of challenge another open door.

not knowing what it brings as you  face the day

there was a little cat who ate everything in sight
he ate in morning and every day and night
he grew very big and his eating did not stop
till one day the cat suddenly went pop
now the cat as gone he cant eat anymore
now he is just a mess splattered on the door

daddy always told me take life in your stride
life is like an ocean very big and wide
take it as it comes what ever it may be
live it to the full make your life be free.

take it nice and easy live it day by day
take it in your stride its the only way
the very words he told me i always will obey
in my mind for ever they will never go away

i dreamed i saw an angel with wings so big and white

with a great big halo shining very bright

she took by the hand and began to fly

to her home in heaven high up in the sky



it was very peaceful as quiet as can be

a really lovely place that made me feel so free

everything was tranquil everything was calm

a really lovely place filled with so much charm



when my time as come i know where i will be

in this land of heaven that the angel showed to me

i wont forget this dream and the angel that i saw

i will see her oneday and be with her once more

there was a little dog the poor chap was blind
he was very gentle and very very kind
this it didnt stop him he still had his smell
where ever he was going he could plainly tell
he would use his nose when playing in the park
find his own way home when ever it was dark
he could sniff his food when it was time to eat
pull it with his paws  to enjoy his little treat
the little dog was clever a clever do was he
happy and content all though he coudnt see

there was a little mouse he just long to be
a body building champ go down in history
he bought himself some weights and began to train
lifting up and down his muscles he would gain
pumping up his body he began to build
his muscles they got huge the little mouse was thrilled

he put in for a contest at the local show
mouse was fit and ready now he could have a go
pumping up his iron would put him to the test
to win the competition to prove he was the best

he began to lift high in to the air
little mouse he won beat everybody there
now he was a champ just like he long to be
a body building mouse that  went down in history.

i like it the country with all its scenery
filled with so much beauty for all the world to see
all the hills an valleys trees and mountains to
with all the shades of green creating such a view.

all the different flowers with colors on display
such a lovely sight that takes your breath away
many different creatures rabbits badgers too
hedgehogs and the squirrels these are just a few

mother natures way the way it has to be
there in all its spendour for all the world to see.

everybody dreams about a different thing
depending on the mood to what the dream will bring
they can wake you up when you want to sleep
running through your mind hiding in the deep
they can take you back to the days of old
make your body shiver and make you feel so cold
they can make you scream put your mind in doubt
wake you up with sweat as you begin to shout
no one really knows what the dreams will be
until we go to sleep then our minds will see

christmas time is here trees are all a glow
time for lots of fun playing in the snow
all the children ready for there christmas day
santa with his presents stacked up on  his sleigh

carol singers call knocking on the door
singing christmas  songs christmas time once more
the ringing of the bells with there christmas sound
watching all the snow falling all around

time for christmas peace put the past behind
time for peace on earth for the whole of all mankind
where all your troubles cease for a little while
that time of the year that makes the whole world smile

spreading lots of joy for friends and family
making christmas happy just like its meant to be
a lovely time of year for all the human race
everybody happy with a smile upon there face

i had a vision the other night
i saw a figure dressed in white
with flowing hair and beard long
and a guiding light so very strong
a crown of thorns around his head
stood beside me at my bed
i reached out in to the night
and touched the figure dressed in white
i had no fear i felt no harm
i felt so safe and oh so calm

castles in the air dragons flying by
fairies with there wands floating in the sky.

bluebirds singing songs in the trees above
sitting there so sweetly singing songs of love.

lots and lots of flowers scattered all around
blooming there so brightly covering the ground.

multi colored butterflies and pretty little bees
busy as can be in the gentle breeze.

the sun it as a smile to brighten up the day
in this land of fantasy so very far away

life it is a journey that dosent have an end
a long and winding road with a curve on every bend
a journey we must travel a journey we must take
a road that has decisions  ones that we must make
we must travel forward each and everyday
the paths we have to take are there along the way
its a rocky climb life has made it so
where our journey ends we never really know

there was a little bull a lovely little thing
he had a thought of one day fighting in a ring
he travelled of to spain to watch the bullfight show
then he got prepared so he could have a go.

through the gates he charged towards the matador
who was stood there waiting. in the middle of the floor
the bull began to charge and chase the cloth of red
tossing it away with horns upon his head

the crowds they loved the bull and they began roar
threw  hats  up in air the and shouted out for more.

the little bull was happy put on quite a show
he made  the people happy and gave there hearts a glow.

the sun as started shining bringing in the spring
face as started smiling such a joyful thing
flowers started growing such a lovely sight
showing of there colors bringing spring delight
birds begin to sing there to let us know
its the time of year when things begin to grow
mother natures picture for all the world to see
a perfect work of art  growing wild and free

listen to the birds singing in the dawn

there to let us know theres a brand new morn

singing loud a clear there morning melody

every one in tune,  that fills our heart with glee.



such a lovely way to welcome in the day

i just love to listen as they sing away.

when tomorrow comes as i begin to yawn.

they will sing once more bringing in the dawn.

i like to watch the sea on a moonlit night
white horses on the waves such a lovely sight
riding in to shore as proud as proud can be
riding on the surf riding wild and free.

with the moon above lighting up the sky
i sit and watch the horses as they go riding by.
then when the tide is turning i watch them ride away
underneath the moon to some other bay

im the rambling kind.  i just keep ramblin on
i cant settle down come morning ill be gone
heading down the road guitar strapped on my back
jump on board a train head on down the track.

find a bar or two get my guitar and play
sing some country songs maybe get some pay
meet some different people i never met before
hit the road again move on along once more.

to another place in some other town
play again once more till the sun goes down.
get myself some sleep for an hour or two
ramble on once more like i always do.

with my rambling ways that makes me so free
wakes my rambling soul there inside of me
with a life of freedom. is what i like the best
sets my spirit free puts my mind at rest

thats the way it is.  i guess its meant to be
the rambling in my soul its a part of me
im the rambling kind.  i just keep ramblin on
i cant settle down come morning ill be gone

jump on board a train head on down the track
moving on again . dont know if ill be back
with my restless ways there inside of me

there was little dog he just longed to be
a sailor of the ocean sailing wild and free
he built himself a boat with a cabin and a bed
then when he got tired he could rest his head
he filled up with food and set himself afloat
then the dog set sail in his little boat
he sailed for a while underneath the sun
he was very happy having lots of fun
after quite sometime he saw a far off shore
then sailed a little closer ready to explore
he found a little island and took a look around
then he had a search to see what could be found
suddenly he saw a little crocodile
the little chap was stuck and been there a while
buried in the sand buried in a pile
he was very sad with teardrops in his eye
buried in the sand he began to cry
dog he started digging with his little paws
all along his body and and his great big jaws
he freed the crocodile and he was trapped no more
then off they walked together along the island shore
they came across a chest lying on the floor
with a little lid that looked just like a door
they opened up the lid and to there surprise
there was lots of treasure they couldnt believe there eyes
there was lots of gold and lots of other things
lots of golden coins and some golden rings
they took it the boat  and both sailed away
the very best of friends and still rich to this day

i like to watch the clock and the fingers on face
altering the time not a finger out of place
seconds moving fast as they tick away
changing in to hours making up a day
in each and every country every different zone
passing time away standing all alone
ticking all through life changing everyday
keeping time for everyone as he ticks away

when you get the love bug it will start to bite
fill you up with happiness fill you with delight
with a little nip it will make you glow
fill you full of joy as love begins to flow

he will crawl around in your heart inside
make you feel so wondeful fill you up with pride
when his job his done and love is there for you
he will start again and bite somebody new

the world is always changing each and everyday
the world we new before. so very far away
global warmings worse changing things around
icebergs melting daily melting to the ground.

hurricanes and floods taking land away
people there left homeless no where they can stay.
we dont really know why the worlds this way
forever it is changing every single day.

some people they take take drugs with life they cant cope

giving up reality giving up on hope

living in despair of the dark inside

like a darkened cave they runaway and hide.



addiction getting stronger every single day

reality of living begins to slip away

if they could find the help and will to carry on

life would be so different once the drugs have gone
