think of all the people in countries far away.

with poverty and sickness every single day

without water they can drink nor a thing to eat

dying with starvation beneath the tropic heat.



it is such a shame in this day and age

poverty and strife still on the same old page

why does it have to be why cant there be a change

then life in foriegn countries they can rearrange

chile is in trouble earhquakes are around
pulling down there homes to rubble on the ground
people now in panic  as they begin to shake
running for there lives running from the quake
finding higher ground as they run away
looking for some safety some where they can stay
praying mother nature will have a change of heart
and away from chile the earthquakes will depart

there was a little ant he was very strong
he wasnt very big and wasnt very long
he lifted lots of thing twice as big as him
even though so small and very very slim
he had lots of strength he would lift all day
moving any obects that were in his way
he  carried lots of leaves mounted on his back
take them to a corner then begin to stack
then when he got tired he would go to sleep
climbed in to his ant hole so very very deep.

daddy went to war when i was only three
that left ma alone to raise and bring up me
gave me all her love help me to be strong
and with all her wisdom taught me right from wrong.

she would stroke my hair as i lay in bed
i would fall a sleep as she stroke my head
hold me in her arms when i began to cry
give me all her love till the tears passed by

always make me smile when ever i was down
make me laugh again take away the frown
made me feel secure safe from any harm
with her loving way that made me feel so calm

always there to guide me teach me might right from wrong
with her loving way help me to be strong
as the years go by i will do the best i can
remember mamas ways as i become a man.

there was a christmas turkey he  was big and round
it was christmas day and his heart began to pound
would he be a dinner lying on plate
with potatoes and some veg was this to be his fate
turkey he was sad was he out of luck
then with a change of fate everyone ate duck
turkey he was happy christmas day had past
now another year turkey he will last

i saw a little spider a funny little thing
from a fine spun thread he began to swing
he swung across the ceiling and across the door
drop down on his thread and walked across the floor

then climbed up the curtains and all along the sill
roaming everywhere gave him such a thrill
the cat he sat there watching and took his hunting stance
ready for a pounce when he got the chance
suddenly a leap then came out his claw
he had caught the spider now his no more

i walked in the garden the sun was shining bright
the flowers they were blooming soaking up the light
showing of there colors standing oh so proud
bunching close together standing in a crowd.

bumblebees were busy having lots of fun
gathering there pollen underneath the sun
butterflies were there flying oh so free
a robin with his redbreast singing in a tree.

it was really lovely a lovely site to see
the beauty in my garden filled my heart with glee.

time it makes the world go round for each and everyone
we must make the best of time before our time has gone
enjoy the things in life every single day.
live it to the full before it goes away

make every second count as the time ticks by
do the things you want as time begins to fly
take it in your stride take it nice and slow
make the very best of life as time begins to go

the animals in the forest had a birthday do
it was rabbits birthday rabbit he was two
squirrel laid the table with lots of things to eat
made a birthday cake rabbits birthday treat.

badger got the chairs  so they had a seat
spread them round the table spread them nice and neat
the birds sang happy birthday everyone joined in
now the time was ready for the party to begin.

there were big balloons hanging in the trees
blowing very gently in the summer breeze
they played lots of games having lots of fun
rabbit he was happy is party had begun.

then they all sat down it was time to eat
time to  blow the candles out to make the day complete
rabbit took a breath and blew his candles out
happy birthday rabbit they began to shout.

now a year older another birthday gone
he cant wait till next year to have another one.

watching birds of prey i just love to do
kestrels falcons owls i just love to view.

flying in the sky i watch them everyday
hunting  all around looking for there prey.

looking out for moles mice and rabbits too
for a tasty meal something they can chew.

flying with such grace in the sky above
watching birds of prey is something that i  love.

there was an easter chick at the local fair
he was red in color and very very rare
feeling very sad different from the rest
he wanted to be yellow the color he like best
feeling so depressed and very very shy
the little chick went shopping and bought himself a dye
he dyed all his fluff to match in with the rest
now the chick is yellow the color he likes best

life is like a jigsaw you do it bit by bit
take it nice and slow make the pieces fit
put them all in place where they all should be
and a picture just like life you begin to see
when the pictures formed all so nice and neat
then you have everything to make your life complete

your dog he is your friend by your side each day
his affections always there and never goes away
gives you lots of kisses to share his love with you
he can make you smile when your feeling blue
as faithful as can be with a love so strong
always right there with you when ever things go wrong
sits down at your feet to keep you company
giving all his love giving it for free
the best friend you can have when you are in need
a very special friend thats a friend indeed

why cant  we have a world where weapons dont exist
the thought of  using violence we could all resist
bring democracy to the centre page
forget about a war that is full of rage.

learn to live in peace  no killing anymore
if there wasnt any weapons there wouldnt be a war
the world would be a better place we could live as one
and the threat of war would be for ever gone

i walked in to a church and watched a candle glow
burning very brighty burning very slow.

while staring at the candle i went in to a daze
saw two angels dancing in the middle of the haze

they were very peaceful dancing in the cloud
as i sat watched i felt so very proud..

the angels they were happy so very bright and gay
and has the candle lost its light the angels flew away.

i wont forget the candle and the angels that i saw
oneday i will return again and watch them dance once more

i listened to a lark. sing his song of love
perched up in tree singing up above.
my heart began to melt to his melody
such a lovely song singing just for me.

every note in tune in perfect harmony
it made feel so happy set my spirit free
then he flew away when his song was done
headed for the sky beneath the summer sun

my little cat is cute as happy as can be
he his full of fun a lovely chap is he
he gets in to my wool  rolls it on the floor
drags all around even out the door
likes to chase his toy a little plastic mouse
picks it up and carries it all around the house
he just loves to sit on the window sill
catching all the flies gives him such a thrill
sits up on my knee  when his day is done
then falls fast a sleep dreaming of his fun

i heard a bluebird singing  such a lovely tune
beneath the stars so bright and the silver moon
a lovely melody with such a lovely beat
it filled me up love with and swept me of my feet

every note in time every note in tune
with his gentle voice i began to swoon
it me feel serene and so very calm
a lovely song of love filled with so much charm

then he flew away in to the midnight sky
flapped his wings so gently as he said goodbye

seasons come seasons go summer sun winter snow

spring comes round and flowers grow

autunn leaves fall with ease

blowing in the autumn breeze.



natures changes that have to be

with its beauty for us to see

a part of life that we all know

as the seasons come and go

jack and jill went up the hill all those years ago

what they really did up there we will never know

maybe they picked flowers or had a little kiss

an after noon together filled with so much bliss.



we can only guess what they did that day

the things that they got up to to pass the time away

we may never know and we never will

was there hanky panky halfway up the hill.

life can be so happy life can be a bore

we just never know what life has in store

take it as it comes what will be will be

what is round the corner we just never see.


its a part of life we deal with everyday

you just learn to cope what ever comes your way

take it has it comes use your faith and hope

what ever comes along this will help you cope

i like to watch the owl as he takes his flight
gently as he soars hunting through the night
flying through the air with elegance and grace
looking for his prey in his favourite place

swooping from the sky as he makes his catch
then back in to the air his prey he will dispatch
such a lovely bird flying wild and free
a hunter of the night and very wise is he.

there was a little dog decided he would go
to a place call crufts a famous doggie show
he brushed up teeth till they very bright
so he could give a smile with teeth so very white
now the dog was ready  his show it could begin
hoping he was good enough and the show would win
he like doing obstacles this he loved the best
and the doggie show would put him to the test
weaving in and out of the little sticks
running through a tunnel and lots of doggie tricks
he was clever every test was done
they counted up the points and the little dog had won
he was very happy and glad he had a go
now he was the champ of the doggie show
people gathered round to see this little chap
he held up his trophy and they began to clap
now he was a  champ  a little star was he
his name his on the trophy and down in history

i think my cats a vampire comes to life at night
hyper as can be as i turn out the light
i can hear him bouncing his favourite little ball
making such a noise as it hits the wall.

he climbs up the curtains right up to the top
i can hear him meow as he begins to drop
he his very active and plays all night till dawn
then when morning comes he begins to yawn.

jumps into his bed then he begins to snore
waiting till its midnight to come alive once more.

there was a little rooster he lived on a farm
a friendly little chap with lots and lots of charm.

he would stick his chest out looking also proud
then  he would give a crow so very very loud.

waking up the people at the break of dawn
throwing back the blankets as they begin to yawn.

a new day has arrived thats how the rooster knew
thats why he gives his crow to say hello to you

when you find your first love
it gives your heart a glow
emotions running wild
as your love begins to flow

your life it seems so happy
a feeling that is new
bringing out the love
deep inside of you

a feeling  very precious
coming from your heart
these feelings you will get
when loves about to start.

i love it when the moon shines.  lighting up the sand
walking with the one i love holding hand in hand
looking at the stars shining up above
as we stroll together very much in love.

everythings so peaceful filled with so much bliss
such a night for romance and a moonlight kiss
i love it when the moonshines in the sky above
walking on the sand with the one i love

theres nothing like a kiss when you say goodnight
it so warm and tender and everything feels right
it just says i love in the perfect way
keeps you warm inside as you sleep away
a way to seal your love and fill you with such bliss
two hearts locked together sealed up with a kiss

we all have different dreams that oneday might come true

about the different things that we would like to do

we all live in hope waiting for the day

that the things we dream of will maybe come our way.



if you have belief  work hard and achieve

you must use your faith in yourself believe

then  the things you dream of are waiting there for you

then oneday what you dream of will finally come true

there was a little mole a funny little thing
while digging underground he just love to sing
you could hear him singing when he began to toil
his funny little song coming through the soil

he was very cute  with funny little feet
singing little songs to a funny beat
he would sing for hours as happy as can be
a lovely little chap a happy chap was he

a fox lives in the city a cunning chap is he
this creature of the night wanders round so free
climbing in to bins for some thing he can eat
takes it out of site to enjoy his little treat
roams around the gardens in the dead of night
at certain hour when the time is right
sometimes he takes chickens from the chicken pen
drags his **** away to his little den
a natural survivor  a creature of the night
a cunning little chap and also very bright

when ever there is anger fury takes control
this just the devil trying to take your soul
there inside your mind tormenting you inside
living on your darkside where he can safely hide.

waiting for his chance till the time you snap
then he will steal your soul once your in his trap
take it to his hell to his fires down below
lock you up in chains and never let you go.

you must use your will dont let the devil in
take control of anger dont let the devil win.

there was a little badger he was feeling dull
he heard it  on the news there was a badger cull
he was very scared he began to cry
pretty soon he thought he would have to die

badger he decided he would run away
to another land somewhere he could stay
he boarded on a boat and sailed across the see
to a foreign land where he could be free

he ended up in Spain a land off sea and sun
now he was a fugitive a badger on the run
he built himself a home in the golden sand
now he felt so safe again in this foreign land

playing on the beach surfing on the sea
having lots of fun as happy as can be
hidden from the cull so very far away
now he lives in Spain to this very day

i have a little cat a thoughtful chap is he
every now and then brings presents in for me
sometimes its a bird sometimes its a mouse
he leaves them every where all around the house.

he thinks that it is kind bringing gifts for me
though it rather cruel this he doesent see
it is just his instinct.   something that cats do.
but i love him so and he loves me too

there was a little fox he lived in a hedge. one day when it was snowing he built himself a sledge.
he pushed in the snow till it began to slide then he jumped on top so he could have a ride.

he it took down a hill and pushed it from the top till it reached the bottom then he made it stop.
he was having fun on his little sleigh then came out the sun to the melt the snow away.

then the fox went back and climbed into the edge waiting for it to snow again so he could use his sledge.

i saw two little love birds sat up in a tree
very much in love as happy as can be

they would kiss each other with there little beak
then cuddle up so closely touching cheek to cheek

it was nice to watch as lovely as can be
i sat there a while wishing it was me

then they flew away up in the sky above
flying side by side so very much in love

chestnuts roasting in the snow
on open fires as they glow
snow is falling on the ground
people gather all around

singing carols  from there sheet
making christmas so complete
children playing on there sliegh
having fun on christmas day

christmas trees a glow with there lights so bright
bringing joy to christmas lighting up the night
giving lots of joy  bringing lots of glee
making christmas happy for everyone to see

when we lose a loved one we all start to grieve

did they have to go did they have to leave

why did the good lord take them why not let them stay

why did the ones we love have to go away.



we will never know what the reason why

why did they have to go why did they have to die

but we will meet again and the grieving will be gone

once again united we go marching on

i saw a lonely bluebird fly along the shore
high above the cliffs he began to soar
with his bright blue feathers. gleaming in the sun
flying round in circles having so much fun.

then he began to sing his little bluebird song
a lovely lullaby it made me sing along
then he flew away back into the sky
i gave a little wave as i said goodbye..

i wont forget the bluebird and his little song
his lovely little lullaby that made sing along
i still hear his song every single day
that he sang to me before he flew away

when i was in the garden i saw a bumble bee
in his stripey suit a lovely chap was he
flying round the flowers flying all around
happy and content with his buzzing sound

buzzing round the trees and all along the plants
landed on the rose bush and did a little dance
i sat there a while and watched him having fun
then he flew away underneath the sun

took down the decorations and laid them on the mat
suddenly from nowhere came my playful cat
he decided he would play and dragged them on the floor
all across the carpet and even out the door
he was having fun enjoying all the mess
now the rooms untidy looking in distress
i started to clean up an counted 'one to ten
it didnt do no good he did it once again
he started to get tired and climbed in to his bed
took his little nap to rest his'weary head
i cleaned'up once again and put  them all away
into a cardboard box and thats'where they will stay

i like to watch the eagles on the mountain top
as the sun begins to set behind the mountain drop
casting sillouttes in the reddened sky
such a lovely setting to watch the eagles fly.

flying wild and free in the sky above
just to watch the eagles is something that i love.
flying all around when the day is done
beneath a reddend sky in the setting sun.

everyday i sit down and write myself a rhyme.

getting  out my feelings while  passing on the time.

then i sit and read it while looking what i wrote.

do the same tomorrow and write another quote.

i like nature watching and all the different things
all the joy and happiness that mother nature brings
lots of lovely creatures the rabbits mice and vole
the squirrel and the hare and the little mole
  lots of lovely flowers growing wild and free
so many different kinds for all the world to see
lots of different birds the crows and falcons too
there are many more there are quite a few
there are lots of fish swimming in the stream
perch and trout and salmon and the lovely bream
these are all the things that i like to see
fills my heart with joy and makes life seem so free

there was a litttle duck he loved the mountains so
and to climb the highest one he would have a go.
he took a trip to everest as big as big can be
to climb up to the top and go down in history.

he packed his little tent some torches that were bright
and a little lantern so he could see at night
took some wooly jumpers. to keep out the cold
colors very bright and very very bold.

packed up lots food so he could have a feed
climbing up a mountain is hungry work indeed.
he had every thing a clock to tell the time
now the time had come to begin his climb.

he started on his way up the moutain side
with his safety harness in case he had a slide.
when ever he got tired he took a rest and then
get himself together and start off again
.
he was having fun it gave him such a thrill
he was used to climbing and had so much skill
duck he reached the top his climbing was complete
feeling very hungry  decided he would eat
then pitched up his tent to rest his weary head
then fell fast asleep in his little bed.

now would be famous just like he long to be
a little climbing duck that made history.

there was a little dolphin he lived in the sea
while swimming in the ocean he made friends with me
he was very friendly as gentle as can be
he started doing tricks a clever chap was he
jumped up in the air and stood up on his tail
skimming through the waves he began to sail
then i got  hoop and held it way up high
dolphin he jumped through high up in the sky
suddenly my feet got stuck in to the sand
dolphin he was watching and gave a helping hand
he dragged me with his tail till my feet were free
then he waved goodbye and headed back to sea
i think about the dolphin to this very day
my thoughts will stay forever and never go away

guy fawkes was a man from many years ago
and the house of lords decided he would blow
with stockpiles of gunpowder hidden down below.

guy fawkes he got caught when his plot was found
gunpowder was discovered hidden under ground
now he is an effigy that we set alight
that everybody celebrates when its guy fawkes night

children dying in a barron land
to young to know or understand
no food to eat in a land so dry
we sit and watch them as they die
filled with tears as they pass away
why does it have to be this way
is this the way it has to be
do they die to set them free

sometimes love is tough it leaves you in despair
it can turn out nasty and really just dont care
take the love you knew and make you want to die
it will squeeze your feelings till it makes you cry
fill you full of hate and rip your heart in two
when your love turns bad this is what it can do
