there was a little dog his life was rather rough
neglected by his owner  he had. had enough
the little dog decided he would runaway
wander of alone and become a stray.

roam around the country where he could be free
no more hurt are harm safe again was he
oneday on travels along the countryside
he saw a little cottage its door was open wide.
the little dog was hungry and took a look inside.

there he saw a lady sitting in a chair
she had heard the dog and knew that he was there.
she knew the dog was hungry fed him with some meat
and some doggy biscuits a proper doggy treat.

she lived on her own and needed company
she was very lonely just the same as he
the little dog was happy and with the lady stayed
now they had each other there company was made.

there both still togther to this very day
dog has settled down and no longer wants to stray.

world is changing fast the planet has gone mad
gone now as the world that we always had
its just  spinning round each day is getting faster
filling up the world with nothing but disaster

bringing in the floods to each and every shore
it has lost control not safe anymore
icebergs they are melting in the climate change
planets upside down acting very strange.

pollution in the air getting thicker everyday
fog is getting thicker taking breath away
people with there fracking make it matters worse
adding yet more trouble to mother natures curse

global warmings here and it wont go away
sunshine is fading fast all we see is grey
will it ever end we will never know
gone has the world we knew all those years ago

there was a little rooster he lived on a farm
a friendly little chap with lots and lots of charm.

he would stick his chest out looking also proud
then  he would give a crow so very very loud.

waking up the people at the break of dawn
throwing back the blankets as they begin to yawn.

a new day has arrived thats how the rooster knew
thats why he gives his crow to say hello to you

there is a little bat he lives in a cave
where its very dark. i guess he must be brave.
he flies around all night although he cannot see.
flying a like a bird so wild and yet so free.

hanging upside down while he has rest
then a  fly around then back in to his nest
with his built in sonar so he can get around
he knows where he is going to an echo sound.

such a lovely creature and so very small
just to watch the bats is the loveliest thing of all.

life can be so happy life can be a bore

we just never know what life has in store

take it as it comes what will be will be

what is round the corner we just never see.


its a part of life we deal with everyday

you just learn to cope what ever comes your way

take it has it comes use your faith and hope

what ever comes along this will help you cope

when ever there is anger fury takes control
this just the devil trying to take your soul
there inside your mind tormenting you inside
living on your darkside where he can safely hide.

waiting for his chance till the time you snap
then he will steal your soul once your in his trap
take it to his hell to his fires down below
lock you up in chains and never let you go.

you must use your will dont let the devil in
take control of anger dont let the devil win.

a fox lives in the city a cunning chap is he
this creature of the night wanders round so free
climbing in to bins for some thing he can eat
takes it out of site to enjoy his little treat
roams around the gardens in the dead of night
at certain hour when the time is right
sometimes he takes chickens from the chicken pen
drags his **** away to his little den
a natural survivor  a creature of the night
a cunning little chap and also very bright

there was a little mole a funny little thing
while digging underground he just love to sing
you could hear him singing when he began to toil
his funny little song coming through the soil

he was very cute  with funny little feet
singing little songs to a funny beat
he would sing for hours as happy as can be
a lovely little chap a happy chap was he

chestnuts roasting in the snow
on open fires as they glow
snow is falling on the ground
people gather all around

singing carols  from there sheet
making christmas so complete
children playing on there sliegh
having fun on christmas day

christmas trees a glow with there lights so bright
bringing joy to christmas lighting up the night
giving lots of joy  bringing lots of glee
making christmas happy for everyone to see

theres nothing like a kiss when you say goodnight
it so warm and tender and everything feels right
it just says i love in the perfect way
keeps you warm inside as you sleep away
a way to seal your love and fill you with such bliss
two hearts locked together sealed up with a kiss

there was a little kitten he was just a stray
just a little orphan with no where he could stay
it was near christmas it began to snow
the little cat was lonely with no where to go.

suddenly he heard the sound of santas sliegh
it was near by not to far away.
santa he saw kitten sitting in the snow
santa stopped his sliegh and stopped to say hello.

kitten he told santa he was just a stray
just  a little orphan with nowhere he could stay
i will take you home said santa.you can stay with me
and alone again you will never be.

kitten he was happy now he had a home
someone who could love him and ever had to roam.
now he lives with santa and sits upon his sliegh
helps deliver presents every christmas day

there was a christmas turkey he  was big and round
it was christmas day and his heart began to pound
would he be a dinner lying on plate
with potatoes and some veg was this to be his fate
turkey he was sad was he out of luck
then with a change of fate everyone ate duck
turkey he was happy christmas day had past
now another year turkey he will last

the cockerel likes to crow in his noisy way

there to let you know its a brand new day

sitting on the fence as proud as proud can be

with his plumage bright for all the world to see



there to let you know its a brand new morn

time to rise and shine as you begin to yawn

get up from your bed to the day a new

face up to the world and whats in store for you.



then when tomorrow comes another day once more

the cockerel he will crow just like the day before

we all have different dreams that oneday might come true

about the different things that we would like to do

we all live in hope waiting for the day

that the things we dream of will maybe come our way.



if you have belief  work hard and achieve

you must use your faith in yourself believe

then  the things you dream of are waiting there for you

then oneday what you dream of will finally come true

took down the decorations and laid them on the mat
suddenly from nowhere came my playful cat
he decided he would play and dragged them on the floor
all across the carpet and even out the door
he was having fun enjoying all the mess
now the rooms untidy looking in distress
i started to clean up an counted 'one to ten
it didnt do no good he did it once again
he started to get tired and climbed in to his bed
took his little nap to rest his'weary head
i cleaned'up once again and put  them all away
into a cardboard box and thats'where they will stay

i bought my self an hoover sparkly and brand new
then i took it home with me to what it could do
i tried it on the rug then  gave a little slide
the suction was immense it ****** up inside.

then i tried the curtains it just pulled them down
i was getting mad and i began to frown
i turned the power down to get the suction low
hoover took no notice it didnt want to know.

maybe it was hungry and decided it would eat
my curtains and my rug was its tasty treat
i will use my brush like i did before
put the hoover in the cupboard not use it anymore

i saw a kestrel fly a regal chap was he
flying in the sky flying wild and free
looking for his prey searching all around
all along the hedges and all along the ground

hovering on the wind for his prey to show
then a mighty swoop to the ground below
in between his talons he would hold is prey
then back in to the sky he would fly away

take it to his nest high up in the tree
a master of the sky a bird of prey is he

i wish i was a fish swimming in a brook
swimming in the river and every little nook
in and out of reed having lots of fun
coming up for air basking in the sun

hiding under rocks from the fishermen
wait until there gone then come out again
swimming with the flow as it goes down stream
swimming past the roach and the golden bream

i would be so happy just to be a fish and hope i dont get caught
would be my only wish.

i saw two little love birds sat up in a tree
very much in love as happy as can be

they would kiss each other with there little beak
then cuddle up so closely touching cheek to cheek

it was nice to watch as lovely as can be
i sat there a while wishing it was me

then they flew away up in the sky above
flying side by side so very much in love

everyday i sit down and write myself a rhyme.

getting  out my feelings while  passing on the time.

then i sit and read it while looking what i wrote.

do the same tomorrow and write another quote.

i walked in to a church and watched a candle glow
burning very brighty burning very slow.

while staring at the candle i went in to a daze
saw two angels dancing in the middle of the haze

they were very peaceful dancing in the cloud
as i sat watched i felt so very proud..

the angels they were happy so very bright and gay
and has the candle lost its light the angels flew away.

i wont forget the candle and the angels that i saw
oneday i will return again and watch them dance once more

watching birds of prey i just love to do
kestrels falcons owls i just love to view.

flying in the sky i watch them everyday
hunting  all around looking for there prey.

looking out for moles mice and rabbits too
for a tasty meal something they can chew.

flying with such grace in the sky above
watching birds of prey is something that i  love.

when we lose a loved one we all start to grieve

did they have to go did they have to leave

why did the good lord take them why not let them stay

why did the ones we love have to go away.



we will never know what the reason why

why did they have to go why did they have to die

but we will meet again and the grieving will be gone

once again united we go marching on

there was a great big spider he always made me laugh
he lived in my bathroom underneath the bath.

he liked to roam around along the bathroom floor
all along the ceiling and on the bathroom door.

he liked to spin a web all around the light
then suddenly drop down and give me such a fright.

i would sit and watch him for a little while
the  spider in my bathroom always made me smile.

there was a little mouse a rescue mouse was he
to be a rescue pilot is what he long to be
he got an helicopter  so people he could save
he was very clever and very very brave.

one day while he was flying he came across a boat
bobbing up and down it couldnt keep afloat
mouse he could see the boat was in distress
when  suddenly his radio gave an sos.

mouse went into action and flew above the deck
with his rescue rope he flew above the wreck
it was his friend the badger who went out for a sail
when suddenly the engines they began to fail.

mouse he got his rope and pulled  the boat ashore
badger he was happy  on land again once more
mouse set of again and flew in to the sky
waving to the badger as he said goodbye

i think my cats a vampire comes to life at night
hyper as can be as i turn out the light
i can hear him bouncing his favourite little ball
making such a noise as it hits the wall.

he climbs up the curtains right up to the top
i can hear him meow as he begins to drop
he his very active and plays all night till dawn
then when morning comes he begins to yawn.

jumps into his bed then he begins to snore
waiting till its midnight to come alive once more.

i was looking at my fish tank and mind began to stray
thought i was in an ocean very far away
swimming in the coral in a great big reef
deep down in the water swimming underneath
i saw lots of fish blue and green and gold
swimming oh so closely near enough to hold
then i saw a shark as friendly as can be
swimming all alone in the deep blue sea
then i saw a jelly fish do a funny dance
it was just amazing in my little trance
then as i was waking up  feeling oh so free
there i had my fish still in front of me.

sometimes love is tough it leaves you in despair
it can turn out nasty and really just dont care
take the love you knew and make you want to die
it will squeeze your feelings till it makes you cry
fill you full of hate and rip your heart in two
when your love turns bad this is what it can do

when you find your first love
it gives your heart a glow
emotions running wild
as your love begins to flow

your life it seems so happy
a feeling that is new
bringing out the love
deep inside of you

a feeling  very precious
coming from your heart
these feelings you will get
when loves about to start.

i saw a great big spider sitting in the bath
he wore a pair of glasses this it made me laugh
they had tinted lenses to protect him from the light
to protect his eyes when the light was bright
he looked very odd as funny as can be
a spider wearing glasses you just never see
i guess his eyes were bad but it made me laugh
a spider wearing glasses sat there in my bath.

there was a little dolphin he lived in the sea
while swimming in the ocean he made friends with me
he was very friendly as gentle as can be
he started doing tricks a clever chap was he
jumped up in the air and stood up on his tail
skimming through the waves he began to sail
then i got  hoop and held it way up high
dolphin he jumped through high up in the sky
suddenly my feet got stuck in to the sand
dolphin he was watching and gave a helping hand
he dragged me with his tail till my feet were free
then he waved goodbye and headed back to sea
i think about the dolphin to this very day
my thoughts will stay forever and never go away

i love it when the moon shines.  lighting up the sand
walking with the one i love holding hand in hand
looking at the stars shining up above
as we stroll together very much in love.

everythings so peaceful filled with so much bliss
such a night for romance and a moonlight kiss
i love it when the moonshines in the sky above
walking on the sand with the one i love

whats the use of worrying theres no use at all
it will put you in distress into decline you fall
take it has comes dont get in despair
take what ever comes anything thats there

dont let it get you down take it day by day

carry on regardless carry on with life

i saw a little mouse playing in the sun
running round my garden having so much fun
up and down the path along the flower bed
then across the lawn  and underneath the shed.

he was very friendly and didnt seem to care
he just kept on playing knowing i was there
walking straight up to me as if to say hello
this funny little chap gave my heart a glow.

i sat there a while to keep him company
such a lovely chap with a life so free

i like nature watching and all the different things
all the joy and happiness that mother nature brings
lots of lovely creatures the rabbits mice and vole
the squirrel and the hare and the little mole
  lots of lovely flowers growing wild and free
so many different kinds for all the world to see
lots of different birds the crows and falcons too
there are many more there are quite a few
there are lots of fish swimming in the stream
perch and trout and salmon and the lovely bream
these are all the things that i like to see
fills my heart with joy and makes life seem so free

there was a little fox he lived in a hedge. one day when it was snowing he built himself a sledge.
he pushed in the snow till it began to slide then he jumped on top so he could have a ride.

he it took down a hill and pushed it from the top till it reached the bottom then he made it stop.
he was having fun on his little sleigh then came out the sun to the melt the snow away.

then the fox went back and climbed into the edge waiting for it to snow again so he could use his sledge.

i like to watch the eagles on the mountain top
as the sun begins to set behind the mountain drop
casting sillouttes in the reddened sky
such a lovely setting to watch the eagles fly.

flying wild and free in the sky above
just to watch the eagles is something that i love.
flying all around when the day is done
beneath a reddend sky in the setting sun.

there was a little mouse he very bright
he longed to go to Camelot and be a shining knight
riding in a joust mounted on his horse
with a great big lance riding round the course
fighting with his sword clashing in the sun
to be a shining night seem like so much fun
sitting at the table as regal as can be
getting knighted by the king now a sir was he
this is what he longed for and hoped it could true
and be shining knight like he wanted to

i saw a field of poppies in my dream one night
each one standing proud standing so upright
i began to count them counting one by one
thinking of the soldiers that are dead and gone.

how they gave there lives in the battle rage
how they made our lives turn a different page
give us all our freedom so we could be free
if not for there courage we would never be.

i wont forget the dream or the poppies that i saw
or those who gave there lives so we could live once more.

think of all the people in countries far away.

with poverty and sickness every single day

without water they can drink nor a thing to eat

dying with starvation beneath the tropic heat.



it is such a shame in this day and age

poverty and strife still on the same old page

why does it have to be why cant there be a change

then life in foriegn countries they can rearrange

90 mph that is very fast you wont see the wind when its blowing past
you wont see its power when it begins to soar
but you will  see the roof lying on the floor
knocking down the buildings leaving just a hole
traveling very fast losing all control
no one in the driving seat nothing we can do
just sit there  and take it all  as its blowing through
then clean up the mess left with in its wake
how much more of this can we really take

when the teardrops fall your heart it will relieve
it will help the sadness it will help to grieve
its a body fuction to take away the strain
crying for a while helps to ease the pain

everybody does  it when there lifes a mess
crying it is there.  to help you with distress
takes away the tension  as you begin to sigh
sometime in our life we all have to cry

when the devil wants your soul he will do his best
play around in side your mind put it to the test
trying to deceive you with his devil game
try to steal your thoughts make you speak his name
you must your will fight him face to face
chase him from your mind and keep your soul in place

i have a little cat a thoughtful chap is he
every now and then brings presents in for me
sometimes its a bird sometimes its a mouse
he leaves them every where all around the house.

he thinks that it is kind bringing gifts for me
though it rather cruel this he doesent see
it is just his instinct.   something that cats do.
but i love him so and he loves me too

i picked some magic mushrooms to see what they would do
i started of with one then tried quite a few
suddenly my mind it began to space
then i started seeing things as my heart began to race
i saw lots of creatures as funny as can be
i even saw an elephant try to climb a tree
then i saw a fairy she began to dance
followed by a clown wearing funny pants
my mind was in spin going round and round
seeing all these things that my mind had found
when my head cleared everything was still
i never saw those things again perhaps i never will.

when spring comes around its such a lovely thing

beauty all around nature it will bring

daffodils and snowdrops they begin to grow

spring is here at last thats  how they let us know



trees begin to bud grass begins to grow

birds begin to sing putting on a show

such a lovely season one that we all know

bringing joy to life that gives your heart a glow

there was once a rabbit a lovely little soul
he lived in the forest in a little hole
always very friendly and he was polite
very very clever and very very bright.

one day on his travels through the forest ground
suddenly from nowhere he heard a funny sound
he walked a little further to see what it could be
it was his friend the mole trying to break free.

the little mole was stuck his tunnel had fell in
all that you could see was his little chin
rabbit started digging around the little mole
to try and set him free the poor little soul.

he dug for a while till the mole was free
thank you said the mole thanks for saving me
they walked off together rabbit saved the day
happy and content as they began to play
