some people they get lonley it makes them feel so sad
looking for some company that they never had

he is my best friend my best company

me and my old dog passsing time along

looking at the stars like diamonds in the sky
and the moon above shining way up high

everything so peaceful not a soul insight

only one year old learning how to walk

i went on a holiday i saw a great big whale
with a great big mouth and a great big tale
swimming in the water as big as big can be
splashing up and down in the big blue see

spouting out some water high in to the air
swimming very freely he didnt have a care
then he dissapeared and went out of view
underneath the water in to the sea of blue

love is meant to last and never ever die
love is for eternity and on its wings you fly

love is for a lifetime and not for just a day

i saw an angel singing while i was in my sleep
such a lovely song it all most made me weep

with a voice so pure came a lovely melody
the voice of an angel was singing just for me

when she finished singing she waved and said goodbye
then flew off to her heaven high up in the sky

im a travellin man im always on the roam
my guitar and me no where to call home
move from town to town play a tune or two
try to earn a dollar help to see me through.

i just drift along no where i call home
i just keep on travelling i just love to roam
never settle down roaming town to town
from the early morning till the sun goes down.

travelling all around my guitar and me

wakes my heart and soul sets my spirit free
with my roaming ways there inside of me

theres a little angel she comes to visit me
and this little angel i cant wait to see
roams around the house now that she can walk
tries to say her words as she learns to talk

has a lovely smile that brightens up my day
always nice to see her and her angel way
her name it is darcy she has turned one
i hope that her visits will go on and on

a proper little angel she will always be
always makes me smile when she visits me

A POEM FOR  DADDY NANA AND GRANDAD

i remember my big brother he used to sing to me
he was in his teens i was only three
when i couldnt sleep he sang a lullaby
i would fall asleep till the night passed by.

i looked up to him.  he took me everywhere.
when ever i was sad he was always there
held me in arms to love and comfort me
always by my side he would always be.

he was always there when ever things went wrong
just knew what to do he was always strong
we would go out fishing down by the riverside
when ever i was with him.  he filled my heart with pride.

as the years go by.  the memories i will keep.
i will sing his lullaby help to make me sleep
remember all things that he taught to me
when he was in his teens and i was only three

someone i looked up to.  always there for me.
just like my big brother.  is how i want to be
all the special times and the fun we had
thinking of my brother that treat me like dad

i like to watch the sunset  across a sandy beach
setting very low like something you could reach.

painting such a picture that brings you peace of mind
troubles seems to cease and are left behind.

a little peace of heaven there in front of me
a lovely peace of nature for all the world to see

i have a little cat he just loves a cake
he sits there to watch every time i bake
when the cake is ready he gives a little grin
watches as i take it from the baking tin.

his favorite cake his sponge he seems to like it best
the one that he prefers better than the rest
i think it is the cream that makes him like it more
i never seen a cat eating cake  before.

when it is his birthday i know what to do

in the woods of Ireland there lived a little mouse
he lived in a hole thats where he made his house
he had a love for music  he could play guitar
he had a dream that one day he would be a star.

this is what he dreamed of if he got the chance
playing at top venues with concerts by the score
with lots and lots of people shouting out for more.

this was just a dream of what he would like to do

going home to memphis on the midnight train

little percy pig went looking for some fun
so he took a holiday and headed for the sun
he headed for hawaii  with its golden sand
with his little suitcase carried in his hand.

he bought himself a surfboard and went down to the sea
a little surfing pig he was  going to be
he mounted on the waves to ride them to the shore
he was having fun and rode the waves once more.

the little pig got hungry and decided he would eat
sat down on the beach and made himself a treat
feeling rather tired and filled with lots glee
he fell fast asleep beneath a big palm tree.

got myself a project its nothing but a curse
problems by the dozen things are getting worse
its a crawler tractor as old as old can be
everything is siezed nothing on its free

done a lot of swearing till the air was was blue
using lots of words that i never knew
it has been a curse a nightmare thats come true
hope its curse will go in a month or two


bought it to restore a have myself some  fun
hoping i can fix it.  once again will run
save it from the breakers at tractor heavens door
restore it once again to run again once more

it will take some time and some patience to
theres so many things that i have to do
make it run again like it did before
then its curse will end no cursing anymore

there was a little dog a diving dog was he
swimming in the ocean in the deep blue sea
he took a little trip a little holiday
to swim around a reef so very far away.

he traveled to Australia to the barrier reef
putting on his air tanks he swam underneath
deep in to the coral ready to explore
he saw lots of things he never saw before.

there were lots of fish swimming all around
as tranquil as can be you couldnt hear a sound
there were lots of ***** and some starfish too
some of them were red and some of them were blue.

lots of living plants as lovely as can be
putting on a show there beneath the sea
he was so amazed at the beauty he had found
so many different things with views that did astound.

dog he had to go swim back to the top
his air was getting low and soon the air would stop
he was really happy with his holiday
underneath the reef so very far away.

every day is different than the one before
another day of challenge another open door.

not knowing what it brings as you  face the day
what ever it will bring or will  throw your way.

its all a part of life as your walking through

i sat down by a pond one bright and sunny day
i sat there a while passing time away.

watching all the ducks as they were floating by
peaceful as can be beneath a summer sky.

there were lots of geese as big as big can be
swimming in the reed so beautiful and free.

i was so relaxed it made life seem so gay
sitting by the pond just passing time away.

they say that when you break up

where you start again like you were before

there was once a cat of the sporty kind
he just loved a challenge. he had one in mind

the was a little squirrel a funny chap was he
looking for adventure upon the deep blue sea
he built a little raft from logs upon the ground
tied them all together till securely bound

then he set a sail for some foriegn shore
some where he could go never been before
he packed lots of nuts  and things that he  might need
organized was he. a clever chap indeed

after quite a while on the sea of blue
suddenly an island  came in to his view
squirrel was excited and landed on the shore
in this foreign land he had never been before

he took a look around to see what there might be
then he saw a monkey sitting in a tree
monkey he was friendly and he said hello
to the little squirrel that he didnt know

they began to play on the golden sand
happy and content in this far off land
they built a little table for a picnic treat
then searched along the island for things they could eat

they began there picnic underneath the sun
sat down both together for there picnic fun
then they took a walk decided to explore
looking for adventure on the far off shore

they found a treasure chest that was very old
when they looked inside it had lots of gold
there were golden rings and some goblets too
lots of golden coins there were  quite a few

now they both were rich on the island they did stay
and made a home together in this land so faraway

petrol running out the panic scare is on
people lining up now all the petrol gone
people who are ill cant get the help they need
carers cant  get fuel for the petrol greed

petrol stored in cans locked up in a shed
so they have there petrol for the days ahead
greed it just takes over they really just dont care
people cant get petrol no petrol anywhere

love can reach your heart and emotions to
when the seed of love grows inside of you
it can make you happy fill your heart with pride
growing stronger everyday from it you cant hide

you will feel brand new a kid again once more
your heart it will beat faster as love begins to soar
happy ever after you will always stay
with a love so true that wont fade away

there was a little bull a lovely little thing
he had a thought of one day fighting in a ring
he travelled of to spain to watch the bullfight show
then he got prepared so he could have a go.

through the gates he charged towards the matador
who was stood there waiting. in the middle of the floor
the bull began to charge and chase the cloth of red
tossing it away with horns upon his head
the crowds they loved the bull and they began roar
threw  hats  up in air the and shouted out for more.

the little bull was happy he put on quite a show
he made  the people happy and gave there hearts a glow.

i like to watch the dolphins swimming in the sea
living in the ocean with a life thats free.

this creature thats so beautiful brings a smile to me

little tommy  turtle went on holiday
to the beaches of hawaii so very far way
he packed his little case with things that he might need
packed it very neatly very nice indeed.

jumped aboard a plane and to the sun he flew
flying through the sky so very bright and blue
he landed in hawaii  back down on the earth
headed for the beach and decided he would surf.

everything is black the lights have all gone out

bought my self a tractor of the crawler kind
all its days of use are now left behind
left for thirty years left there just to rust
engine it is seized a lot of parts are bust

now i have a project something to restore
then the rusty crawler will run again once more
pistons the are solid locked inside the block
wont go up and down they wont even rock

clutch is just the same that is seized up to
to make it run again will take a month or two
put it all on you tube make a video
then everyone can see my tractor addict show

working on the farm at the break of day

mama always knew when anything was wrong
she cuddled and she kissed me kept me feeling strong
mama she was there to love and comfort me
always by my side thats were mum would be

she would wipe my tears as they began to weep
she would stroke my brow and send me off to sleep
mama always knew and she would understand
mama she would listen as she held my hand

she was always there to always guide me through
mum she  always knew things that only mammas do

i had a lovely dream of place so far away
where it was full of children and i watched them play
all them were happy every girl and boy
playing very happily sharing lots of joy

everything was peaceful in this world so bright
a place that felt so safe where everything was right
this was just a dream something i could see
a place that was so safe the way the world should be.
