the kiss on christmas eve gave my heart a glow
my heart it a skipped as it began to soar
such a lovely feeling ive never felt before

we sat by the fire with the lights down low
with a glass of wine we watched the falling snow
falling from the sky pure and so white
falling  all around lighting up the night

turned on the radio listened to a christmas song
in each others arms we both danced along
wont forget that christmas or the mistloe
or the kiss we had that gave my heart glow

when the rain is falling like tear drops from the sky
i watch them on my window as they go rolling bye
like the tears i cried when you walked away
it was raining in my heart every single day

lonely nights i spent with you there on my mind
teardrops in my eyes sleep was hard to find
thinking of the good times that i shared with you
when we first met when our love was new

no children outside playing on there sleigh
building lots of snowmen on a christmas day

says at christmas time it always  should be white

decorate the tree tinsel baubles bells and all

wrap up all the presents for friends and  family
stack them all together beneath the christmas tree
hang the mistletoe  for some christmas bliss
standing underneath waiting for a christmas kiss

put the  music on let the music  play
christmas time is here dance the night away
dancing altogher dancing all night long
party time is here dance to a christmas song

fire up the bikes lets all ride away
let all ride for charity call it a dave day
a tribute ride for dave hairy biker man
lets do our very best.  raise the best as we can

he was everybodies friend barrow born like me
to lose such a man was such a tragedy
he travelled all the world with his biker show
with his best friend si who we all got to know

loved his motorcycles a biker boys was he
with his best friend si  bikers born to be
lets all carry on every biker day
in memory of  dave on his special day

christmas time once more time for santas sleigh
with a ring ring ding aling on a  christmas day
flying through the snow pure and so white
delivering his presents on a christmas night

hang the decorations light the christmas tree
baubles bells and bangles for everyone to see
time for lots of parties with a beer or two
put the music on dance the whole through

listen out  for santa ring ring ding a ling
listen to choirs as they begin to sing
singing christmas carols its that time of year
time for happiness christmas time is here
