i walked along the meadow and sat beneath a tree
there upon its branches a meadow lark sang to me
singing out his song to his lovely tune
it almost made me cry as he began to croon

every note in tune every note in key
such a lovely song with a lovely melody
when he finished singing. in to the  sky he flew
hi up in the air in the sky so blue

i wont forget the song that he sang to me
such a lovely tune with a lovely melody
singing loud and clear from the branches of tree
in my mind for ever his song will always be

when ever there is love two hearts will revolve
united both together then love it will evolve
grow and grow inside stronger every day
with a bond so strong that will never go away

there to last a lifetime for as long as you may live
there inside your heart. always there to give
united both together there inside of you
a love to last for ever that stays forever true

i love to take a walk on a moonlit night
moon up high above  shining oh so bright
lighting up sand all along the shore
tide covering the sand coming home once more

stars up in the sky like diamonds in the sky
clouds with many shapes as they go floating bye
everything so gentle as peaceful as can be
soothes my heart and soul makes the world feel free

such a lovely picture of nature at its best
in the night so still when the worlds at rest

i watched all the bikers as they came Dave day
they came in there thousands from many miles away
heading in to barrow on Dave day number two
everyone loved Dave someone we all knew

i was born in barrow not to far away
just around the corner from where Dave used to stay
i watched the hairy bikers on there tv show
there was Dave and Si that we all got to know

traveling the world with there cooking ways
between the two of them became  a cooking craze
Dave he passed away to his pastures new
to his home in heaven in the sky so  blue

he will be remembered a legend he will stay
his name it will live on his special day

dogs know when your sad when you feeling down
they will lick your face take away you frown
hand there paw to you  so they can hold your hand
dogs are very clever and can understand

they will make you smile again take away the sad
bring you back your happiness once again feel glad
always there for you when sadness comes along
there to comfort you.  there to keep  you strong  

best friend in the world dogs will always be
giving you there love that they give for free
when your feeling down dogs they always know
always there for you to give you back your glow

moods are up and down always on the change
one day you are happy next day a little strange
up and down they go like a yo yo on a string
changes moods around as they begin to swing

its a part of life that we all go through
one day you are fine then a change around in you
round round they goes each and everyday
never ever knowing what mood you have today

heaven must be big there is always space
when our time has come our maker we must face
all around the world people die each day
they always find a place for all of us to stay

maybe there is two  one that we dont know
we will see one day when its time to go
is there really heaven in the sky so blue
is there really space for every me and you

is it just a myth something we  read about
something we believe that leaves your mind in doubt
