i took a my self a trip to the dover shore
somewhere that is different ive never been before
hoping i would see the bluebirds  in the dover sky
singing out there song as they go flying bye

singing all together there lovely bluebird song
in perfect harmony as they fly along
a legend that ive heard   i hope that i will see
the day i went to dover. when the bluebirds sang for me
cats they can be so loving i have one so i know
i got her as kitten seventeen years ago
she is  my best friend keeps me company
and her loving way she still gives to me

climbs upon my knee lets me stroke her fur
happy and content as she begins to purr
tho she is getting old her loves still there for me
best friend in the world and will always be
life has ups and downs changes everyday
never knowing what it will bring your way
what is round the corner you never ever know
you have to take what comes as on with life you go

somedays they are happy somedays they are sad
some can be the best day that you  ever had
up and down they go like a yoyo on a string
you just have to wait for what the day will bring
people like to write its good therapy
put it down on paper in what your mind you see
write down how you feel what you want to say
wether good or bad as you write away

this will ease your mind take away your blue
help to ease the pain there inside of you
take away the stress with writing therapy
the troubles that you bare now at last are free
spring is on its way not to long to go
the season of the year when plants begin to grow
all the spring time plants coming in to view
daffodils and crocus and the snowdrops to

pushing through the soil reaching for the sun
so that they can grow springtime has begun
waiting for there flowers for there flower show
adding lots of color to give your heart aglow

hedgehogs they awaken from there winter sleep
all around the garden they will gently creep
birds begin to sing bringing in the day
there to let you know spring is on the way
meadow lark meadow lark sing your song for me
sing it loud and clear from the branches of your tree
your lovely morning song that sets my spirit free
with it s lovely tune and loving melody

meadow lark meadow lark you melt my heart away
and your lovely song in my heart will always stay
i will return tomorrow so you can sing to me
your lovely morning song from the branches of your tree
nature is a wonder for all the world to see
flowers  by the score growing wild and free
all the many creatures freely as they roam
beneath the forest trees where they make there home

the rabbits and the badgers and the weasel to
so many other creatures there for you to view
birds they sing there song in the morning dew
singing loud and clear singing just for you

a wonder of the world for each and everyone
a miracle of life that makes the world go on
