the snowman came today knocking on my door
by the time i got there he had melted  the floor
scarf and hat were there lying in the snow
snowman now was water down the drain did flow

i will build another as tribute to that day    
use his scarf and hat that i have put away

when i had my daughter i had everything
happiness to me for ever she will bring
i will love her always more the she will know
always be there for her as i watch her grow

i will do my best to make her proud of me
best mum  in the world i will try to be
she is everything  i worship and adore

the sun is out today finally shown its face
just a little visit to brighten up the place
temperature still cold but the weather bright
if only for a while a little sun delight

maybe its a sign for the year ahead
very little rain just lots of sun instead
