there was a dog from edinburgh bobby was his name
a dog so loyal and true oneday would find fame
his owner was called john and needed company
on his watchman nights a lonely man was he

bought himself a dog so he could have friend
his dog he gave his friendship till the very end
winter nights were cold and damp.   took its toll on john
he devevoped TB bobbies friend passed on

buried at grey friars in the cemetery
bobby stayed there with him where longed to be
every night and day never ever left side
till the very end when bobby to had died

they made a statue of bobby in his memory
a dog that gave his love and his loyalty
a dog who loved his owner till the very end
right there at the graveside of his loving friend

they say there is a tunnel if and we when we go
that there is a light  with an eternal glow
to guide you on your way to your destiny
where you can rest in peace be forever free

your final resting place that is waiting there
it has pearly gates with angels everywhere
the place  where you will dwell  for eternity
safe for evermore you will always be

when your heart is broken and you feel despair
and  at times you feel life is so unfair
find someone to talk to friend or family
they are there for you and will always be

time will help you heal take your pain away
give you back your strength to fight another day
help you to move on put the past behind
heart will mend again a  new love you will find

you can love again  with a love thats new
love it will return within the heart of you

today it is the birthday of the one i love
taken by the angels to heaven up above
her final resting place with eternal peace
all the pain and suffering forever now will cease

now your life is free to start again  a knew
up there with the angels in the sky so blue
in heaven up above where the angels stay
with nothing else but love each and every day

watching over loved ones from your home up in the sky
sending down your love as they go passing by
oneday they will join you when they are angels to
once again united once again with you

children bring back memories of how it used to be
of my younger days when i was young and free
days i went to school having so much fun
and my teenage years when growing had begun

days on holidays spent with mum and dad
times i loved the best made me feel so glad
these are all the things children bring to me
of my younger days in my memory

autumn is a season one that we all know
leading in to winter  bringing in the snow
children having fun playing on there sliegh
playing all together on a winters day

watching as the snow falls it dosent make a sound
gentle as can be falling all around
lighting up the roof tops pure and so white
that warms the heart  and soul on a winters night

autumn leaves are falling turned from green to brown
time for season change as they gentle tumble down
falling to the ground they all gently lay
in the autumn breeze they are blown away

trees are standing  bare waiting for the spring
new leaves for the trees once again will bring
autumn it brings color red and brown and gold
natures work of art a picture to behold

such a lovely season one that we all know
with its autumn feeling that gives that autumn glow
a lovely peace of nature incredible to see
filled with lots color for all the world to see
