as we begin to age hair begins to grey
eyesight not the same begins to fade away
things we use do now are quite a chore
body has no energy  that it had before

we  look back on memories of our younger days
fun we always had in our younger phase
all the times we shared with friends and family
in those special years when we were young and free

even though we age we stay young at heart
memories of our younger days will never ever part
we just carry on thats what we have to do
life it still goes on for every me and you

when your feeling lonely and your feeling sad
think about the good things.  times that you once had
things you used to do that made life seem worthwhile
times you can remember that always made you smile

look in to the memories stored there in your mind
all those special things of the special kind
then you can smile again with all the times you knew
and all the happy things you always used to do

people love to garden when it comes to spring
potting out the plants its such a soothing thing
adding lots of colors as they begin to grow
ready for the summer with there flower show

showing of there colors beneath the sun so bright
like a work of art bringing such delight
sit down and relax with a glass or two
look at all the work that all came from you

soon it will be summer time to holiday
to another country somewhere far away
lying on the beach beneath the a summer sun
family and your friends having lots of fun

going for a swim have a barbecue
open up the wine have a drink or two
visit all the sites that there is to see
have a lovely holiday for a while feel free

when the sun comes out to brighten up the day
children all come out i sit and watch them play
having lots of fun doing different things
playing in the park on the slide and swings

underneath the sun in the sky so blue
having lots of fun just like children do
happy and content on such a lovely day
lots of smiling faces as the children play

if you have a pet you have company
best friend in the world there will ever be
when your feeling lonely they are always there
always there for you pets.  they really care

they can make you smile in the things they do
bring a little happiness take away the blue
right there by your side till the very end
if you have a pet they will always be your friend
