the animals had a party in the local zoo
to celebrate there christmas there where quite a few
they had lots of food for there christmas   treat
all the favourite things that they love to eat

  had a christmas tree and some baubles to
lots of colored lights yellow green and blue
wore a party hat  they were having fun
happy as can be now christmas has begun

they all danced together in falling snow
with its christmas feeling that gave there hearts aglow
celebrating christmas in the local zoo
animals love christmas just like me and you

if tomorrow never comes where is yesterday
is the day before now so far away
will the day return in the morning dew
will we see the sun as it comes shining through

does it disappear as it turns to night
another day passed bye gone now as the light
will there be tomorrow will it ever be

there was a little squirrel a lovely chap was he
when christmas came around he would decorate his tree
hanging lots of baubles with colors by the score
hanging from the branches right down to the floor

he even made a fairy to put upon his
in a big white dress for everyone to see
wore a santa hat that was red and white
he would sing some carols on a christmas night

his friends would gather round to see the christmas tree
it brought them lots of joy fill there hearts with glee
squirrels time of year that he loves the best
when theres peace on earth and the world all comes to rest
