a learning experience
- the detailed
timing and precision

- a certain etiquette
in the rise and fall
of hands and feet

i learned the walk
- mirrored on the toe
of a spit-shined boot

shooting imaginary doves
in white gloves -

the proper fold
of the cloth
- tight and taught
with stars above

the tri-fold - not
a trifling thing we're told

the color of a mother's tears
and grip of a father's grief -
the why in the cry of a child

- sad song of the bugler
on a windswept hill
standing in the detail.

don't stare at me
with those ensnaring eyes
hidden mirth beneath that twisted grey

try listening, for once
listen to the sound of your soul
screaming

you're too cold to melt

Why

Lone Wolf
Why
Why do we fall in love?
it is believed that when humans were first created,
We were two body's fused together
With two heads, four arms and four legs
But only one heart,
The mighty Zeus feared our potential
And split us all in two,
Dooming us to spend eternity searching
For our other half

Then why does love hurt so much?
*because child, sometimes, the love god Eros,
Well, he doesn't have the best aim
And that ***** everything up
I love Greek mythology. Eros is the Greek god better known by his roman counterpart, Cupid.
Nogen kalder mig fortid
Mange kalder mig nutid
Og mine hænder ligger i andres fremtid.
Jeg savner dine øjne, og
Jeg manglede dig i fortiden
Men da du fyldte min nutid
Ødelagde du min fremtid.
Når jeg møder dig
Får himlen dit ansigt
Til at falme, og dine
Beskidte kolde læber
spidser til, når
Du siger mit navn.
Men selv en mørk aften
Savner jeg dit blik, når
Du fortæller mig at
Verdens undergang
Ikke vil skille os ad.
