your scent lingers, in the way that the moon never rushes to go down in the winter
in the way that it is a beautiful blend of moonlight, lavender, and whiskey
the moon is always beautiful and nobody complains of her presence
the same is said for you

your legs tangle with mine, and it's hard to write this without feeling drowsy
nostalgic for your touch, and your head in the crook of my neck
your hair is always so soft, and so are your lips and I don't know how
but I like the way they tickle my chin

I can feel your fingers, skimming through my hair, hard to the touch
but with softer intentions they do bear, I could say the same for your heart
cold on the outside, a mix of steel and ice, but on the inside is a battle
of brimstone and fire

I think I'm beginning to understand, your smile when you are asleep,
and the reason behind your favourite books and works of art
I think I'm beginning to understand, why love is a term not to be used lightly
and especially not around you
You can buy flowers that you make into a tea.
They look like little wrinkled brains,
But unfurl in a glass to reveal spectacular colours.
Some people hate the taste, but I can taste those colours on my tongue,
Watch the petals dance as flavours bounce along my mouth,
Loving the unexpectedness, the eccentricity.
I have a thing for acquired tastes,
Falling in love with those that some might call 'hard work'
Because I love to unearth beauty from an unexpected source.
Look harder at those who try to hide,
They may be truly beautiful inside.
I kept your pictures, hoping that you'd come back on day.
And I'm wishing that all this is not in vain.
Days and days have passed, and I'm waiting to dance one last time.

Oh where have you been
I can't wait for you no longer
My heart in pain remains
I can't wait for you no longer.
Won't you come back and feed my hunger.

I see how now you two dance by.
I hope he's the man I couldn't be,
Dozen of roses died within time.
For all that has happened, you can blame me
Well I wasn't the man that I should've been.
New Years Resolutions are a replacement for daily resolutions.
Don't change yourself once a year; change yourself constantly.
Happy New Year!
Here's to a wonderful, beautiful, enlightening and happy 2014!

You are so beautiful.
Why do you even doubt yourself?
You are filled with love and care.
You comfort your friends and family
while you're fighting your own battles.
You're like a free hotel.
The shelter for every hangover.
You're smart.
No, intelligent.
You have all the right ideas about life,
about how to treat eachother.
You're creative.
Funny.
You're not afraid of spiders and hate putting on make-up.
You're independent.
18 years old in your own house,
a study you are paying yourselve.
You are strong.
3 years of anxiety could not knock you down.
You're openminded.
You see the story behind the deeds.
You're funny and positive.
And you can be insanely happy with a christmastree or a wink.
You can cook and dance and climb.
You can be sober and have the best night.
You're sensitive and compassionate.

You are so beautiful.
Forget the old start a new I see others admire you when your attention is else where
Im glad everyone has that same im going to change attitude even if its for a day.
Everyone has a quest and journey sometimes other factors have a rush but stay focus.
Target those unfinished projects
Start those things on the back of your mind
Ive been good ive been better not settling for less
Turn all the what ifs into at least I tried
Every experience has good or bad you gain from just depends on how you use it.
