Red
I never liked red,
But I liked him,
and he liked red.

So I fell in love with the colour.
I fell in love with him.
But he fell in love,
with someone else.

So now I lay in a pool of red.
Now he loves me.

Tea Cup

Kai
Steam rises from my cup
White tendrils twist and dance
Ephemeral intensity before me
Cannot be contained within.
It rises to be admired
For moments by watchful eyes
Daring to challenge natural laws
Conspiring to its end.
Yet inexplicable beauty remains
Long after tea cools
So I shall remember
Passion I had for you.

ARAYNA
She smiles
revealing a mystery
which will remain unsaid
Here I am
Exactly where I belong
It took many changes, trials and tribulations to get here, but look
everyone
I made it

I made it

maybe not to my peak
because no doubt I am still climbing
and I will keep on until I reach that peak
At the top of the mountain
I imagine the air is clear
deep breaths come naturally
and the sun is rising.
we are all climbing
