Not a poem or tradition
just if only perdition
my end of world lover
kiss bye as we smother.
You mean that much to me
more than I could ever be
   even rhymes at odd times
   committed our tiny crimes
   books, food, truth's lies
   always holster my alibis.
We all thank our sacred gods
we're living the American dream.
Our slums are better than the others
less disease more milking mothers.
Irish, Italian, German, English all
came through Ellis Island hoping
for tickets to a better maybe place
looking for the better opportunity.
Break wind, break promises,
break hearts but never ever
break Sacred Marriage Vows!
All the gods will have cows...
All kittens will die I swear on a
bible made in communist China.
Each and everyone I knew
I'm blistered in my grave
cold earth warms my blue
lie dead wait to be saved.
We're drowning in lies
innuendo and suicides.
Lift us above the fatality
rearrange our dark reality.
I love our weeping shame
the edge of suicide's game.
Closing time once again
last chance for mortal sin.
See you in the piano keys
haunting dreams please.
