The Darkness
Noami Victor Feb 2020
The darkness seemed to envelope me

The folds and crevices beckoned to thee

It was so huge it swallowed me up

To escape would take all of my luck

I took it into my arms and pushed it in

Oh how my arms felt fragile and thin

Eternity was the time it took

Until my mind was raw and shook

The darkness I had defeated thee

Yes I had defeated the horrid LAUNDRY

Then there was more
Who has this problem?

The Little Boy and the Crow
Noami Victor Feb 2020
The little boy has many good friends

But his laughter and joy isn't where this story begins

It begins with a violent family and a tabby cat

And a misleading welcome mat

Tears and sorrow were all he saw

Until a man came and took him afar

Tiny and lonely the little boy grew

As he listened and watched how the blue bird flew

Bigger and stronger the little boy would grow

As he made friends with the injured crow

Healing and beauty was taught to the boy

And this is when he received his first ever toy

The little boy got big as he wrote and read

Watching over him was the crow he fed

After many years and many of a heartbreak

The little boy had found one which his heart she would take

Many years later was the little boy

All grown up and full of joy

His beloved gave him two little boys

Which he cared for and gave many, many  toys

He watched over this little family of three

He watches now as he will watch for eternity

The once injured crow that the little boy made friends

His eyes he will forever lend

Remember when she stood
Noami Victor Apr 2020
As a little girl stood watching as the moon as it glided by
Watching the two little mice scurry cheese held high
The store keepers cat as it chased and chased
The store keeper awake with an annoyed face
The maid and the disappointment as there were no cheese
The queen in a huff because it she was not pleased
The meeting went wrong and then came war
The little girl fell as bullets went a soar

How I've Forgotten
Noami Victor Apr 2020
How the lonely day passes for those in the field
How the lonely week passes for those who yield
This is for all who have forgotten
And for all who feel fear
The whip as it strikes
The sword as it nears

The blossom of hope can be many colors
Sown by the dead or fed by copper
The never ending wave of enormous grief
Or the turning of a beautiful leaf
Fate, destiny all untold
How the gentle breeze has become cold

The ones who parish the ones who still live
Those lucky ones with love to give
Hear my plea, here's to my cry
As I tell you a lullaby

Just Another
Noami Victor Feb 2020
So little so small

So frail so slight

A little, little  girl whom only knows fright

Good head good mouth

Yet so scared and alone

The little boy, lonely, he will forever roam

Sister, brother, family, friend

Hatred, fights, heartbreaks, and another end

So dreary so dark is our little world

But it's fine

It's just another fire burned
Change our world for the better, so we don't relive our past! Thank you.

Poem,oh poem

Poem, oh poem

So queer

So quiet

So me

Poem, oh poem

Make me laugh

Make me cry

Make me shout

Are you truth or lie

Poem,oh poem

You said I was pretty

You said I was smart

But would you say that if you had eyes

But I know you would keep spouting those lies

Poem,oh poem

You were there

Oh my dearest poem

You sat as I broke

You sat as I hurt

You put me together as I fell

And I knew you would never tell

Poem, oh poem

You

And

Can

Be

Together

Till

I

Die

No...

Defy
Sorry, I know this is bad.(I was crying while listening to music)

Clarity
Noami Victor Feb 2020
Devour! Devour, are the only thoughts

Pain! Pain is all that's brought

Everyones a stranger

Everything's strange

Oh why ,oh why won't anything change

My eyes seem blind

My taste bland

I feel like I'm going crazy

Listening  to this horrible chant

Then I heard in the distance

But is was oh so clear

Laughter giggling at my fears

Soon enough I had to join in

For I felt so good I never wanted it to end

All my thoughts, my cut short senses

And all my old defenses

Came tumbling down, down

As my head adorned a brand new crown

I'm free

Yes finally free

And now I know

It's okay to be me

Darling Dear
Noami Victor Feb 2020
Darling, dear I promise thee

I will be close wherever I may be

Memories live as people die

As the tadpole swims and the mockingbird fly

Blooming like the apple bud

Or constant like the marshes mud

My love shall live and carry on

In every smile, in every song

The past is happy, sad and dead

Many words will go unsaid

But darling dear you're stronger than me

Greater then this hungry sea

A sea of loss hurt regret

But you have not lost , not just yet

Live, then live and live some more

Live until you can't any more
To the ones we have lost and to the ones they left behind.

— The End —
