Christmas Peace

As I sit here on my couch, I have a
Cup of hot chocolate in my hand
Thoughts in my mind, there’s things
I ponder and things I’ll never understand

All of the lights are out and I have switched
On the Christmas tree and window display
And I’m letting myself get lost in the silence
Of the night and in a dream I slipped away

I’m overwhelmed with a feeling of love
And I’m surrounded by beauty everywhere
As my mind begins to process it all I think of
Heaven and if I could be there

Everything is so real and it shakes me
As I begin to hear one single Angel singer
I begin to wake up to the Christmas tree
Flicker as my dream continues to linger

I wish my dream could be my reality
I pray for hate and violence to cease
I wish the world was Heavenly beautiful
And every day was like my Christmas Peace

Under The Bridge

Well you know the world doesn’t
Care if you lose or win
Ain’t nothing gonna stop it
It will continue to spin

It doesn’t matter if you have a broken
Heart or if there’s tears in your eyes
The Sun and the Moon will never
Fail to set and rise

So there’s no need for you to spend
All your time rolling in your sorrow
Because dusk will turn into night
And dawn will turn into tomorrow

So you put your trust in love and you
Dreamt of a special enchanted place
And your dreams turned into nightmares
And love slapped you in your face

Well you can cry yourself to sleep
And just let it bother you a smidge
For when morning comes you know
It’s all just water under the bridge

Dangerous Euphoria

    Well it’s a modern phenomenon
These new ways for the young to die
It’s something I can’t comprehend
I’m only left to wonder why

It will be a blast, let’s steal a car
It’s our lives so let’s go waste it
We’ll take this car and drive as fast
As we can and crash it

They’ll pull our dead twisted bodies
From the mangled steel
Not knowing the rush of the moment
The way it made us feel

And though drugs have been around
To give us an artificial high
Now there’s this stuff called Fentanyl
It’s certainly an early goodbye

I’ve got this phone in my hand, there’s
Something about a text I can’t explain
I’ll read it and text them back
Even if I’m driving in the rain

I know that I can **** somebody or even
Shatter my own Calvaria
We’re young and I guess and we’re just
Naturally drawn to Dangerous Euphoria

Chrystal Shard’s

When I was young, mother told me
My heart was fragile like Crystals
Beware of Cupids Arrows and
Annie Oakley’s shiny silver pistols

Each would prove to be deadly
If I was to cross in their path
She said to always treat women
With tender love to avoid their wrath

But don’t fall in love
Because Love is destined to fail
When that day arrives
You’ll feel the fires from Hell

As time slipped away momma’s voice
Became just an echo from the past
I heard so many stories about love
And forever it was supposed to last

So I had to learn the hard way with no
Caution to the wind or regards
My love I gave to you and now my heart
Is shattered into Crystal Shard’s

Little Lies

     I really don’t know, I guess pathetic
Is the only word that comes to mind
Yet you knowingly still tell your lies
When the truth isn’t hard to find

I’m not a wise man by any means
But it doesn’t take much to realize
You’d never be a good actor because
You can’t even fake a poor disguise

I can see the evil Aurora that surrounds
You as it invades attempting to Demonize
And as you utter your words, I can see
The fluctuation in your eyes

I don’t know who you’re trying to impress
But none of us were born yesterday
So just some information I give for free
No one believes anything you say

Only God can save you, I can only pray
But as long as you believe you
You’ll be lost in your own whirlwind
Never knowing what is really true

Under your feet, you’re slowly losing
Any solid ground upon which you stand
There’s nothing but fire below
I’m just trying to help you understand

So if you wish to turn it around
Then quickly a plan you must devise
Because I can tell ya all roads to Hell
Begin with just telling Little Lies

Into The Night

   As the day slips away
And the dusk turns to twilight
I know my tears are gonna flow
As time gives into the night

Our love was passion and fire
I knew I was never gonna be the same
And now it’s all just a memory and
In the night the wind whispers your name

And as people see me now
There’s no words that can be spoken
I didn’t know a heart was made of glass
And how easily it could be broken

Now that you’re gone, with each day
The love inside of me slowly dies
You were taken too soon and forever
I’ll be haunted by your green emerald eyes

Time is irrelevant, pain is constant
As I’m faced with the reality of my plight
And I fear getting lost forever in my
Dreams as I enter Into The Night

The dawn has risen on a new day
History is now just a word
The world has changed, it’s not
Recognized and it’s so absurd

Did a past ever exist
What do we really know
Are we children to be seen not heard
In a stagnant life unable to grow

It’s all about feelings so terribly hurt
The world is so very cruel
So erase it all and make it go away
With a very demanding new rule

The sky cannot forever be Sunny
There will always be rain
We cannot experience pleasure
If there’s never any pain

So go ahead and cancel it all
What will be our new reality
You just might find that you
