may I rise.
Are you done for the night?
Did you quell all their cries?

The moon doesn’t ask
the sun
are you done for the day?
Did you warm their cold faces?
Did you cover the grey?

The cloud doesn’t ask
the sky
can I cover your blue.
with my puffy, shaped white
poured on thick just like glue.

The sky doesn’t ask
the cloud
shall we part.
I’m waiting for a star
to give me his heart.

Then neither shall I ask
for what I must do.
And in return –
Neither will you.

Life is full of happenings

Somewhere, a child is born
Somewhere, a life is lost
Someone is making a fortune,
Another is losing it all
Someone is leaping for joy,
Another is wallowing in tears
Someone has too much to eat,
Another is starving to death

Is it fair to say life isn’t fair?

Someone is living in sound health,
Another accustomed to pain
One baby is welcomed into riches,
Another into misery
Someone is living in a peaceful land,
Another in a war zone

Life seems to have multiple sides,
Different folks see different views
You never know what a person
is going through
Our experiences in life differ as
we all journey through
That’s why it’s important to be kind
No one has it all figured out.

I in the past felt like Jesus has forgotten me.

In my shame , I feel unworthy to my Lord God.

I feel like it was an mistake that I heard him say.

Thinking that it might have been the evil one.

But lately I been hearing in lots of songs I listen to.

That Jesus shall never break a promise that he makes.

Knowing that he is speaking to me letting me know.

That his promise to me shall still be fulfilled too.

My God is going to finish the work that he started in me.

He shall also finish the work that he started in you.
