Diamond rain drops flow
Down the streaming river
Of heartbreak and sorrow
Wondering will this be forever

I am in this space
Where peace and anger roam
A place where I feel wise
But also think too soon
My head keeps on bleeding
In all possible directions
Thinking it will be lost
But in reality still has its connections
My heart feels heavy
Yet rests with ease
Having faith in its creator
Knowing he will please
My body seems to be growing
But time seems to go back
To a place of childlike behavior
With an adult’s act

Getting stuck in the artistic sense
Is very frustrating and draining
You feel like your talent is for rent
Not something you possess
One day it’s all pages filled up
The next day you want to give up
It always seems that the more we feel
Wither it’s happy or sad  
The more we crack our creative shield
Maybe that’s the point of it all
The journey of art
Should pick you up when you fall

Being kind is hard
It can leave you nasty scars
But it’s still worth it
Because that’s who you are

Everyone has that one to laugh with
Sit on the stair case and give a small kiss

Everyone has that one to talk to
Dance with and say “ I love you”

Everyone has that one to go around the world
Explore the cities and play with the birds

Everyone has that one to cry to
Open their heart about what they went through

I see and I learn from them
Wishing I have the one
Wanting their life’s gem

Cause everyone has that one to settle with
Buy a big house and watch their kids

Everyone has that one to goof around
Bantering about the things they found

Everyone has that one to make things right
Drives them crazy and whisper through the night

Stars aligned
Shining bright
Crystal snow
City glow
Slow pace
Beautiful face
Red roses
Looking flawless
Warm covers
Watching lovers
Butterflies tingle
Scents linger
Candles flicker
This can’t get better

I feel grey
It’s just one of those days
Not white or black
Not happy or sad
Just grey
