always hungry
never satisfied
a world without respite

walls closing in
nowhere to turn
unable to call for help

the lonely life
of being alone
unshared burdens overwhelm

a prison of the mind
comprehensive
complete

how to escape
when my jailer
knows my every move

embrace the jailer
befriend him
know him
as he knows you

for in the end

Moving from glow to flow
   my purpose now clear
I embrace the lapping surf
   the slow decay
Of things past their usefulness

knowing Entropy
   Has a partner
equal and opposite
   Creating stars and galaxies
planets and oceans
   The seed of Life
within us all
   Gently glowing

All abuzz and aglow
i grasp at a future
knowing it is better
