Finding the space
To create abundance
I resist the temptation
To keep it for myself

In the belief
A shared blessing
Is a blessing multiplied
I pay it forward

Dreaming about a future
A pandemic of love and joy
Spreading out
Infecting all of humanity

Stepping out of uncertainty
Claiming creativity
Embracing the power I have
To dream a new reality

Seriously sad
Trapped in a moment
Set upon a barren table
Nothing to see for miles

Nothing to do
But go deeper
Sometimes the only way out
Is through

Grasping at the edges of reality
My mind an explosion of possibility
Overwhelmed and enthused simultaneously

Searching for true fidelity
Praying it will all be revelatory
Knocking on the door of destiny

Opening all avenues to abundance

Nested in a select place
Feeling secure
Enjoying this moment

Letting the calm
Wash away the emotions
Shedding the past
Like an unneeded skin

Emerging
Clean and fresh
Into a new day

Awaken dear child
Open your eyes
Lift the veil
See the world for what it is

Few people will tell you the truth
Not because they wish to deceive
But know
   their eyes are clouded
   and their ears muffled

The world we live in
Favors stories and beliefs
Community harmony
Groupthink above all

If they don’t know you as friend
They are quick to brand you enemy
Survival patterns
From a distant past

Tell them
I have no wish to eat you
Your inner divinity shines
As does mine

Wracked with guilt
Stories telling me
   you're not good enough
   you're not kind enough
   you're not patient enough
   you're not enough
Leaving a huge hole

In this hollow state
A shell of a human
   i float
Adrift on the currents of life

Not knowing
   where to tether
Not knowing
   how to choose
   my landfall
Which filling station
   to trust

I take tentative steps
   guarded
   aloof
Not willing to risk
What is left
Of my humanity
