have always been a dreamer
Even as a little boy
I have dreamed a lot
I loved blowing bubbles
Watching them fly so high like my dreams .

When I sat next to her at junior school.
I think it was then I fell in love with her.
She treated me like her puppy dog.
I thought it was love back then.
But it was just another bubble.

At the high school,
I was still in love with her
She had become more like a woman then.
Her softness abounding
She let me carry her books home.
And was my date at the prom.
She wore my corsage
And kissed me goodnight
after the dance was over.
I thought it was love
But it was just another bubble.

We went to college together
She became a radical
I hate all men she said.
I softly said I am a man.
Not you, she whispered
and took me to her bed.
I thought it was love
But it was Just a bigger bubble..

I attended her wedding today
She looked so beautiful.
No one noticed the tears in my eyes.
I closed them tight to hold them back
And I saw myself
standing next to her
At that altar.
I silently  mouthed the words
I do, in unison
With her new husband.

For just a moment
I felt her as my wife.
and that she loved me.
But it was only
my last bubble popping.

Dylan Thomas
To-day, this insect, and the world I breathe,
Now that my symbols have outelbowed space,
Time at the city spectacles, and half
The dear, daft time I take to nudge the sentence,
In trust and tale I have divided sense,
Slapped down the guillotine, the blood-red double
Of head and tail made witnesses to this
****** of Eden and green genesis.

The insect certain is the plague of fables.

This story's monster has a serpent caul,
Blind in the coil scrams round the blazing outline,
Measures his own length on the garden wall
And breaks his shell in the last shocked beginning;
A crocodile before the chrysalis,
Before the fall from love the flying heartbone,
Winged like a sabbath *** this children's piece
Uncredited blows Jericho on Eden.

The insect fable is the certain promise.

Death: death of Hamlet and the nightmare madmen,
An air-drawn windmill on a wooden horse,
John's beast, Job's patience, and the fibs of vision,
Greek in the Irish sea the ageless voice:
'Adam I love, my madmen's love is endless,
No tell-tale lover has an end more certain,
All legends' sweethearts on a tree of stories,
My cross of tales behind the fabulous curtain.'

This is called the malady of love. Experienced by young and old all over the world.

Life is short, we all know
Whether we like it or not
Maybe good, bad or holy
One day we all have to go

Our children may query
Look upon a starry night
Of the trillions there's us
So why fret & why worry

For what else can you do
But to take it on the chin
The straights, hooks, jabs
 Life throws swing at you
