Lurking in the corner
Of the conference room
Whispers
A Tete-a-tête confabulate

Enough of the palaver
We have to move on
There are more
Impressive issues
To discuss

No need to
Extrapolate
Don’t make a fuss

Whatever happened
To the days of;
Honor
Virtuousness
integrity of probity

The political campaigns
has become mudslinging
*** for tat
We lost the sustenance of
Where we are about

Despite the
Moderators
Best efforts
Opposing sides
Still remain
Intransigent

Most people are
Betwixt between
A rock, and a hard case

Family Friends on
Opposing sides
In Retribution
They stoop to
Degradation

Some find
It difficult
To conform
To propriety

Struggling
to fit in
With Society

Perplexed
We are at
An impasse

An impression
Unsustained
Does not last

That is the dilemma!
growing up one of 8 children, my father encouraged us to use a larger vocabulary to improve our lexicon. We were taught to choose a word from the dictionary, and for the rest of the day to use that word correctly. Three syllable words were called five cent words, and we were given a bonus nickel. I had a jar full of nickels as a tribute to my furthered education and for my fathers inspiration. Later in life, he would smile when I would use a five cent word, and he would quietly hand me a nickel. Hence, our secret phrase was for a nickel I will.😎
These words were from past Webster’s Word of the Day

Euphoria 10-25-24
Refers to a feeling of great happiness and excitement in town, feeling floating on air

When I take communion, something comes over me. My soul weeps deep inside I cry. And I pray for the world. For world is peace. A. Euphoria comes over me as the Holy Spirit washes away, my repentance and my prayers with the blessing of pure Bless. This feeling is known to last for the rest of the day. People would say oh you’re crying can I help you and when I push them away and say I am in Bliss they want to rub my arm as  if My euphoria will rob off on them.
Oh people of little faith.

What is this
You bring?
All wrapped up
And
Tied
With string

The excitement of childhood,
May this feeling
Never leave
What's hidden?
What's found?
Shake and listen
For a
Sound

Someone's thoughts
Contained inside,
Expression of love
Cannot be
Denied

Time to open up
"It's a pebble from the beach"
One that you picked
Just for me,
Only you're eyes could see,
It's perfect,
For me
I don't really do sentimental, but when it happens, it happens.

To add a decorative touch10-24-23o

In the 1980s this was a very real thing for me. I was engaged to a VP of a film company who dealt in foreign distribution he was the money man. The one who got the budget for a movie.as I got to know him I realize that I was just his little trophy we have been together a little over a year. I think he was impressed with the fact that I saw him as a man not a star or something more. I was never one of those fans who went after the stars..
Although I learned a lot about writing screenplays, reading Scripps and the business
All of the lavish parties
All that glitters is not gold.
I remember a young Tom Hanks The movie bachelor party He was an unknown then.
always a party at the end of the day, basically when you watch the dailies
of what was shot that day.
I knew what everybody’s salary on that  film.
. It was part of the budget . Its star gets paid based on their rating. For example, if you’re a blockbuster, you have an A rating .
This was a low budget movie.
This guy came up and said
if I sleep with him, he’ll make me a star
I laughed. He was barely more than an extra.
I said you be nice to me I might be your
boss one day. Then I walked away.
That’s when I realized I was not going to be anybody’s arm candy.
I gave;back his ring and kissed him. Goodbye. I met him years later he still wanted to continue a relationship I had moved on, but we were friends.
The road to the middle is full of good intention

I used to wish
For an
Eraser,
To rub out
All the painful episodes
Off my life,
The
Hardships and
Strife

It's taken many years
To fully realise,
The golden prize

Empathy

To know
How it feels,
The deal it seals

No
Good
Without
The
Bad
This is the first version.

I used to play
A little game
With myself

The eraser blazer

I'd think of all the unwanted scenario's
From the past
And give them a blast
With the
Eraser blazer

Imagining the new and
Improved me
For all to see

Until realising
There's no good
Without the bad
