Dead deer on the street

Six. Vultures on the roadside.

Not fazed when cars pass

Feed on deer carcass complete

Vultures stay till street is clean

A Tanka Haiku
Five lines  31 syllables
Pattern 5-7-5-7-7

Inspired song
1) The eagle and the hawk John Denver
2) The music in you by John Denver
In Northern California, there’s lots of wild animals with that comes The cleanup crew. Vultures are patient ravenous creatures that fly in groups. They sit in the trees nest on the side of the bank of the road and wait for the animal to die.
They take turns having their full Unphased by passing cars. They fiercely guard their food. Amazingly, the smell of a dead animal is completely gone before they leave. this took two days before they were onto the next meal.

When these
Three
Words are said,
There's
Many thoughts
Inside my
Head

So out of respect,
Not thinking
You're
Correct

"I don't know"

Not made a
Definitive
Conclusion,
Sorry to cause
Confusion

"I don't know"

Some take offence,
Time to
"Get off the fence"
But life
Is
Long,
Pondering
The mystery
Of The
Song

The tune can
Lead you
Anywhere,
Eventually I'll
Get
There.

Song- Hank Williams, “Ramblin’ Man”

Waiting anticipation for the debate to begin
Rhetoric with condemnation answers sin
Watching Yelling at our television set
Lacking truth Moral values not met

American’s fate Survival on the line
Was the Mudslinging worth our time?
Debate Not presidential consequential
Opponents actions portrayed as less wise

Despicable Moderators should apologize
Obvious with one Opponent they strategize
Moderators bias jabs, ******* blabs
Verbal attacks, *** for Tat

It was Hard to watch that
A Condescending Smirk on Her face
Drive by at assault pace lack of grace
Demand true transparency, feeding lies

Fit to be tied Smoldering Anger in His eyes
Each slipping their words in edgewise
Price of freedom Americans, who have died
Lies, Lies, Lies, Standard denies

Polar opposites no middle ground
She was Light on policy only rhetoric found
An absolute Waste of American’s time
Frustrating to watch their demise grind

She claims to unite all people yet
Policies Devision in our county she met
More tax middle class No love lost there
Children lost in the shuffle without Care

****** expressions, grotesque stares.
Fraternizing with the enemy dares
Both sides Claim victory media mob
News all spout the same headline blob

They only print they want you to know
Propaganda from the word go
Battle grounds dug pull out the rug,
Voter harvesting ballot cheating

Make America great What’s at stake,
Undocumented immigrants food depleting
Middle class family nucleus bleeding
Trying to stay afloat, hopeless, pleading

Rich or poor Middle class dwindling away
Gas food rising cost bidenomics they say
what will we lose if The election  is Lost
Probing Questions, we need to ask our task

Are you better off today
than you were four years ago?
Open borders don’t know who’s coming in
Gen Z will never be able to own a home

Fraternize means to be friendly with someone.

I want my politician to not stoop to the other guys game. I want to hear president (a )I believe ABC President  (b) I believe ABC if you like what I’m saying vote for me if not vote for him. That is the only rhetoric I want to hear I want straight forward matchup policies why is it so hard

We all get to a time and place in our life where we start asking the Big questions
In the end,
we knew the answers
before we asked the questions
such as life

Post grip
I’ve been pondering this concept for a couple of weeks now. A man behind me at the grocery store had one item. I let him go in front of me, and he was very grateful. I had quite a few things, and I wasn’t in a hurry. He grabbed a few things at the register like most of us do. We got to talking how most people say negative things, and they don’t bother the time to say thank you or a simple kindness. Then when his change came, he told the checker to give it to me one good turn deserves another. He sad smiling. This was a man late 60s early 70s.. He was wearing a Taco Bell apron, ( probably on a break or lunch ) and he gave me his change!
one person. whatever you can,
I don’t know I am pretty confident that was the Lord telling me I’m on the right track. Now I’m excited to pay it forward.
It’s just a couple of bucks, but it was enough for lunch.

We are the world. We are the children.

I was trying to make the poem
in the shape of the world.
But like the world
things don’t always fit
the way you want them to.
