If I tell you
the truth of time
and of nursery rhymes
will you believe
what I say?

If I tell you
the truth of the lie
the one we all buy
will you believe
what I say

When I tell you
the truth of the void
you may be annoyed
will you believe
what I say

When I tell you
the truth of Saint Nick
and you say I’m a cynic
will you believe
what I say

There are more truths than one
under our sun
There’s yours, there’s mine
but there isn’t a line
They are all the same
in this game that we play
and the books of rules
are written by fools

Getting to know my poet friends
Is more then just the means to an end

I’m learning to navagate this site
What each catagory mean in its own right

Clues to poets you can find
If you only take the time

Since many have no bio to  reveal
Through their poems learned crumbs one can feel

Also who have they chosen as the poet’s they like
Following the clues is like riding a bike

Favorites is a good place to start
These clues are more then a stab in the dark

You can read poetry that has touched them in some special way
While also reading what a new voice has to say

It’s a win win if you ask me
Because I’m rather an open book you see

There are many times when I too hide in plane sight
Those are poems for another night

Just getting to know poets I am beginning to know this is strictly  for literary gain and shared  admiration
Surprised by joy—impatient as the Wind
I turned to share the transport—O! with whom
But Thee, deep buried in the silent tomb,
That spot which no vicissitude can find?
Love, faithful love, recall’d thee to my mind—
But how could I forget thee? Through what power,
Even for the least division of an hour,
Have I been so beguiled as to be blind
To my most grievous loss?—That thought’s return
Was the worst pang that sorrow ever bore,
Save one, one only, when I stood forlorn,
  Knowing my heart’s best treasure was no more;
That neither present time, nor years unborn
Could to my sight that heavenly face restore.

There is some point in our life,
When things get rough,
When things get tough,
Like rivers, soon it will dry.

Nothing stays permanent,
Nothing stays forever.
Everything has an end,
Maybe today, maybe not yet.

But as a river dries up,
There's something, a cause to it.
Something that's blocking its source,
Something that cut its connection.

Like the hearts of two lovers,
It continue to flow.
Until some sort of obstacle appears,
Blocking the path between the two.

Some barriers can be taken down,
But some are permanent in time.
Causing two hearts to give up,
Causing two lovers to let go.

But time heals every pain,
It's just, not right on the spot.
But you can still find a way,
Find another, open way.

With that obstacle up ahead,
You can go around it,
With another path to take on,
With another road to lead you.

Like a river all dried up,
Water, it still finds it way.
From the hot, barren land,
It will struggle its way back.

Given the circumstances,
Learn not to give up.
Cuz like a river that dried up,
You too, can still move forward, no matter where you stay.
I made this for my friend who is experiencing some problem. Hope you get past that. Cheer up! God has a plan in our life <3
