In a loving mood,
You tossed the kites to fly,
High, high in the sky,
Make the children laugh,
In happiness huff and puff.
I saw you wind being naughty,
Give a lesson to the lady who acted haughty,
Blew her dress over her waist,
While she tried to hold onto it in haste,
Her umbrella and parcels strewn
ever where,
Wind, that was not fair.
I saw you wind of love,
Blowing through the lady's long silky hair,
A serene waterfall,
Caressing her soft skin,
Making her heart dance like a rose.
I saw you wind blowing hard,
In the path of a fragile flower,
Swaying and trembling,
To be swept away by you.
Then you howled and roared,
Debris scattered everywhere,
Trees uprooted,
Houses roofless,
Soon you calmed and went your way,
Leaving a sea of chaos behind.
Wind I saw you again in vexation,
Toss and turn a lone boat in the rough sea,
The helmsman as stubborn as the huge waves,
A match to your wrath.
Oh! Wind, wind you are unpredictable ,
With your moods and not knowing when your gust will come our way,
And change everything.
