her glowing beauty,
the moon refused to come out
from behind the clouds.

At seventy I have stopped,
Not because I am getting old,
But being grateful Allah has granted me bonus time.
To spend precious moments with my grandchildren,
I never had time for my children.
To relax,
Take a good nap,
Read the Holy Quran more often,
Discover my true self,
Enjoy every second of my old age.
Most importantly prepare myself to be ready for my afterlife.

When I was pregnant,
With my first child,
I boarded a bus to go shopping,
The bus was full.
A kind gentleman offered me his seat,
Which was under and advertisement  which read
"RUBBER GOODS WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS ACCIDENT ",
People around me chuckled,
It was an embarrassing moment,
But seeing the funny side I too smiled.

We were more than college friends,
Then we drifted apart.
He became a famous celebrity,
I was just a manger of a big company,
We met at a mutual friend's party.
At first sight I knew it was him,
In his hectic life he seemed to have forgotten me.
As he brushed past me to greet his acquaintance,
He remembered the fragrance of my perfume,
He turned round with a big grin and hugged me.

Are never hidden".
