A row of ten pigeons on the edge of
A roof while balancing their perspective
They bob their heads to be more objective
A few of course are at their beaks for love
Two among them resemble a white dove
As they fly my poetry finds motif
On my flower a few are destructive
For few minutes I look and dwell above
Suddenly a crow joins them in the row
I too am taken a little aback
Activities of the pigeons get slow
In the focus of pleasure a slight crack

Both the pigeons and crow in our thoughts grow
It’s good that now the white pigeons are back
A Sonnet

Flames of lust
Silence to inhale
The primitive beast
The precious angels
Stay concealed
In mysterious nights
Of dark and lights

Whether you will grow tall
To be with the Orion
Or will fall
Among the tiger and lion
That dictates the mysterious night
With its fair and foul
That hover over and prowl
In your milieu
Deep inside you

Well, you mysterious night
No need of your dark lantern
Inside the dark cavern
I need to read the letters
As they get unfettered
Under your charming starlight
For the sake of my poems
Whatever that be
Ultimately
Down to a Haiku
To say to your white smile
In the face of the dark night
I love you

The moon sinks
In water of the Ganges river
It is future like black dark
Savage and stark
With two burning bright
Searchlights
The owl
Scans under the solo starlight
For a white cat

I look inside
At the old owl
Can black night
Bring out a white cat

Who knows
The night is always mysterious
And I am always curious
In gentle love
Sometimes delirious in delight
In the mysterious night

War clouds in Doklam
Hints of blood on blades of grass
Glow worms hesitate
You'll be still further removed
From my dreams of crests, alas
A Tanka

In the daily news

Roses torn and pigeons killed

Desert grows in hearts

Is it a change in species

A malady in your love?
A Tanka

Cloud turns up and leaves
Neither rumble nor blue smile
What for do you come
A Haiku

Through the red and blue glass
The sun sets like you are splashing ocean
In a maroon dream
Leaving me waiting

Beyond that fading light in the dark in east
May be someday
I will have my much expected feast
In the moonlit night
A thirsty beast
At least

Humans are too much leashed
By the solemn priests
Always roaming under a huge umbrella of words
Of scruples
With dilated pupil
And swords at the look for sublime lemon
As you splash ocean
On the red and green commotion
Of your orange heartbeat

In the blue heat
One day
The intrinsic picnic
We'll delight in

You have left me waiting
For the golden wasp
On red cherries

An indoor plant wilts
Clouds come and go in the sky
Heavy heart inside
A Haiku
