I ask myself a question, deep within my soul
Not sure if I'm wanting the answer to know.

It's a question others have asked themselves in time.
The answer can go two ways, it can cut you, finish you, break your soul - end your life in sixty seconds, just like that with the edge of a sharp knife.

The other option is that somewhere deep within, reflexes happen, safeguards kick-in.
Your body and soul reawake, for you another day to take.

It depends of course upon your mind and when you search it, what you find.

Is it your choice of another day more time to laugh and play, dance and sway.
Another chance at happines, another chance to live.

Or is your choice to slip away, quietly without goodbyes, no longer here to play on earth, your physical home where your mother gave birth.

What is your choice, what do you do, is there anyone around, worth fighting for, ask yourself this question first, I implore.

For once the blade has done its job you cannot turn back, your choice is made and the cut of a blade has taken your life and that's a fact.
Different style for me

Who do you see when you decide to search internally?

Do you see someone wise, or do you see a fool?

Do you see someone with a light heart or do you see someone still looking for their glow?

Do you see someone who feels deep, or do you see someone scared to take the leap?

Do you see someone who likes to show they care, or do you see someone who really does not want to be there?

Do you see someone who is frivolous and funny, or do you see someone who is perfectly happy being lonely?

Do you like what you see, Dear Poet please do tell, do you like what you write, what you try to sell?

Do you feel confined or free, are you happy with what you see, when you look internally?
Well what do you see?

Two roads lie ahead but how do I choose
How do i decide which road to take and which one to lose

Road One is bumpy and full of twist and turns
Making the journey one of adventure, never quite knowing your fate

Road Two is straight ahead, you can see from A to B
Nothing particularly unusual or out of the ordinary

I could choose Road Two with nothing to lose and yet nothing to be gained
Maybe always wondering will life always be the same
With nothing to aspire to or dreams to acheive
Stay upon this steady road, deciding never to leave

It seems a shame to me, to live your life this way
Never challenging your talents or feeling any pain
Never knowing even the smallest of change

Road One of course is more treacherous more to lose and gain, opens you to challenges, encourages you to accept and feel the pain.
Road One lets you know that there is more to life than steady 1,2,3, Road One means your living life and that seems a good thing to me
As spotted by Diya, this was indeed inspired by Roads Not Taken, Robert Frost

One night whilst walking home alone.
A drunken man came into sight
His walking was loose hips and made for a fun sight.
At first I thought of turning and walking the other way.
Then the man started rolling and his hips began to sway.

I stayed on track best foot forward, just don't look him in the eyes.
If you keep walking right on past and as fast as you can go, I began to internalise, don't look back and don't walk too slow.
I felt as though I was worldly wise and not a young fool who had just left school.

Then the unthinkable happened.
We were level with each other, my heart began to race at such a heavy pace.
I raised my fists in self defence. He laughed and sang a song Waltzing Mail da was the name, then he wandered on.

I looked back as he passed me by, loosy hips swaying from side to side.
Not a care in the world, nothing to hide.
Just a happy drunk on his way who knows where.

I wish I was a happy drunk I'd like to have no cares but for now I wander aimlessly from Town to Town, looking over my shoulder at who may be around.
Waiting in the wings for the next Happy Drunk who sings, maybe the next one will fancy himself with me in the rings.
Experimenting different styles, new for me

I sit inside, its cold outside
The snow it keeps on falling
The wine is red, the bottle is open
Watching Bradley Walsh losing it on the chase
Life doesn't get any better

Is Pizza like the wheel of life
To be consumed slice by slice
Some consume it slowly and enjoy each slice
Some devour it quickly, its gone in a  thrice
Some like it plain others add spice
In life we each make choices based on our likes
Some like it plain others with spice
Sounds to me that Pizza is indeed similar to the wheel of life

It's been snowing here for over an hour, its not even laid a trace
Its wet outside and this time our country will not be disgraced, as everything halts for a drop of the white, for us in The UK it is not an annual sight
So much excitement usually exists when a little dusting of the white stuff makes our pavements glist
But for today we will not panic, nor make our way home early from work
Instead we will watch the snow falling around and be thankful that its not settling on the ground
That people will not be stranded in their cars far from home
That accidents will not happen on streets that are frozen with ice
That buses and trains will make their journey's to the end, reuniting families and best friends
Last time it snowed people were cut off, drifts of ten feet deep, this brought out the best in people who offered services to the elderly and housebound utilising their jeeps.
Today we may decide to stay in all day, keep safe and out of harms way, safely watching the snow fall to the ground making us breathless with its beauty but not bringing us to our knees
Taunting us with the promise of foot deep snow but knowing its just a tease
I like to sit and watch it fall but hope that it ends soon after all tonight is Games Night with my Grandson and Daughter as they take over the living room
We've got Pizza to make and Blue Rays to watch, Paddington 2 is in the queue, so just for today Snow please don't lay, just blow through.
It's unusual, i do love snow but we don't see it often, this year we've had it twice in a couple of weeks but it was already wet outside and the snow isn't laying, as my son and his wife are due to go out tonight and we are having the kids overnight and their auntie is meant to be coming around too for pizza it would be a shame if it got cancelled, especially as my grandson help me make the pizza dough this morning... but we will see what will be will be, as long as no one is hurt.
