I was sad
as I knew

to come again.

Now that I have come
I feel no sadness
as I have realised
that there is nothing here
I still want to have.

when you smile
I see the little girl
who was full of awe
about the wonders
of this world
had a sense of adventure
a believe that
anything was possible
and could be achieved
with lightness and joy
seeing you smile today
makes my soul dance
with happiness
as I can see
that despite  the challenges of life
the little girl has survived

It must be hard
to smile

wants you to fail.

But your smile
is more beautiful
