Winter
Tony Tien Nguyen Aug 2015
Right now, the world is
a cherry blossom.
The petals fall quietly with the gentle wind,
elegantly falling

Red flowers bloom, along with the blue sky.
Pinks float around, along with the light black night,
Purple sneaks a peek, under the yellow lights
As if winter never came.

So many colors in one place,
no little colors left behind,
in a small beautiful world,
a fusion of one color.

All colors make the world,
both light and dull,
making the world
a beautiful, breathing cherry blossom.

Color of a Person
Tony Tien Nguyen Aug 2015
Everything has a unique color.
No, not by skin or eye color, nor hair color.
One could be Red, like blood or One could be Blue like the blue sky
Another can be Orange, a ferocious lion

The “world” isn’t just Blue, Green, and White
nor is it a simple Black and White.
It has a color that no one has,
a color to protect and live

Colorful, yet colorless.
Bright, yet dull,
As if it changes color
from Orange to Red

What color is the “world?"
Is it simple or a mess?
Right now, the world is
a beautiful sakura.
