Your voices when meshed
Make melodies unheard
A simplistic beauty
Yet not of this world

The pluck of your strings
Caressing of keys
Creating a harmony
To bring Gods to their knees

Your lyrics speak of shadows
Ravenous for light
To succumb would be wrong
So you stay faithful to the right

But I can spy your glances
Your looks of longing love
As your souls share a song
You're fit like hand and glove

How tragic is this timing
So close and yet so far
Both parties could submit
But that would leave a scar

So you soldier on through life
What's meant to be cannot
Staying true to your commitments
And the time that love forgot
Speak to me with your naughty tone,
Take me to that place,
Where all your nouns and all your verbs,
Are fingertips that trace...

Around my wants, desires, needs,
My secrets seldom shared,
Trace my lips with your adjectives,
My tongue with your savoir faire...

Let your words graze my *******,
****** me with your phrase,
Speak them down my stomach,
Lead them through my maze...

Move them lower, let them roam,
My rounded hips and softest thighs,
Stoke the fire of my lust,
And receive the ultimate prize...

Silent thoughts, no more speaking,
Hushed moans and quiet weeps remain,
Giving of ourselves completely,
We become whole once again.
Swaddled babies never felt such care as this, being wrapped in the blanket of your love. Nuturing kindness, whisper soft kisses on angel soft skin. Dancing souls, matching steps and even breaths in this moment they share. Anticipating needs with a watchful eye and a caring heart. One made of something more precious than gold. More beautiful than the rarest of stones. Yet forged in a similar manner. Wrapped in the pressure and heat of our mutual adoration. An ever growing presence in itself. Transforming all that we know and understand about ourselves and each other. Sharing thoughts like a glass of fine wine...leaving floral tones on the tips of our tongues. Curious as to how each others individual tastes might influence that tone, we share a kiss and find ourselves amongst the stars.
This world has been invaded by aliens
Though there's really no need to show fear
They've been living for years now among us
You'd be surprised at how very near

They're everywhere in our daily activities
In fact you wont believe what they've seen
By now they know us as well as we know ourselves
Try not to let "that" give you the creeps

I can't think of a place where their not sitting
Watching our most intimate moves
They've probably seen movements by our President
Which wouldn't make for good nightly news

They've found out they can't breath in our climate
After all these years they've left their suits on
That poses a bit of a problem
Cause that's exactly where they went wrong

It's all in the design of their equipment
On their planet they just couldn't tell
That their spacesuits look a lot like our toilets*

I don't want to grow up
To be the example set before me
Where each day rests upon the day before

Says...
          I don't understand it
Jagged lines carved on tinder faces
Show the pain for what it has become

Says...
          Life was meant for living
If not, who would bring the flowers
Crushed under the heavy weight of their
          surroundings

Says...
          Who reckons enough of life
Owning nothing if not its own tragedy
          *
Feeling nothing if not...
Tried of it All

Tired of it Now
A need to Survive

Won't help us Out

Peace on Earth

Some sort of Joke
What they feed Us

Making us Choke

This is the Bed

In which we Lay
Headboard a Tombstone

Societies Grave

WHY DO THE MEN WE HIRED TO SERVE
SHAKE OUR HANDS AND GIVE US THEIR WORD
ONLY THEN TO GIVE IT ALL
TO THE ONES WHO GREASE THEIR PALMS*

WHY HAVE WE NOT OUR LESSON LEARNED
YEARS OF GOVERNMENTS UNCONCERN
LONG AGO THEY TURNED THEIR BACK
LEAVING US NO MORE THAN WHAT WE LACK

Time we stood Up
In the thick of it All
Do it Ourselves
          Make our own Calls

That's the way that It
          Was meant to Be
Government under Control

Ghazal
His situation was dire.
Despite having taken shelter
Inside that ring of fire,
Fuelled with whiskey and ****,
And ****** with flesh,

She still held in her beautiful hands
The end of the rope around his neck.

Stepping into, and out of the flames
With unbelievable, unnatural ease,
She would tighten and loosen
That noose of her deadly love,
As and when she pleased.
For Hank Moody (Californication).
4am
bodies intertwined
only gonna get 3 hours
of sleep if we pass out
right now
but the sound of your voice
against my 4am
delirium
is
absolutely
intoxicating.
He fell in my arms.
Not in love, but fast asleep.
I fell the former.
