They say that eyes are the windows to the soul. And I see straight into his.
Blue and bright. They are always looking down on me. Down from his tall
height. There is something about his smile so slight. The way his eyes glisten
in the light. There is something that feels so right. His eyes are my windows
And into them I stare. I've never felt more safe than when his fingers twist my
hair. I guess I didn't know what love was until now. It's looking into the eyes
of another and wondering how. How could something so great ever fall into my
lap. I guess that's why I no longer feel a gap.A gap in my heart where something
went missing. A gap in my heart
that is filled when we are kissing.
Into his eyes I look. One blink of
his thick lashes and I'm hooked.
I stare into something greater than
I. I stare into the eyes of my future
guy. His eyes are blue. Blue as the
sky. I stare and I think. And farther
into love I sink. It's a warm feeling
like when I'm wrapped in one of his
hugs. Finding love like this makes
my heart beat sound like drums. I
stand and I stare. Fingers twisted in
my hair. His smell filling the air. He's
so perfect I wonder if he is really
there. I stare into the windows praying
I never make them cloudy or leak.
Blue and bight. And sometimes white.
I love  his eyes. And his heart. But that
belongs to me. And it's only him that I
see. It's said that no love ever comes with a
guarantee. But I don't agree. Because I love
this boy. And he loves me.

Her skin was made of glitter and sunflower petals.
Her eyes were the oceans, condensed into little orbs that fit perfectly into her sugar-coated skull.
Her flowing hair was pure rays of sunshine that sparkled like the sea.
Her fingernails were little stars, who shrunk just for the privilege of living on her sparkly hands.
Her lips were made of fireworks, that remained on narcotics until a lucky boy kissed them.
Her shoes were pure bubblegum and smiles.
Her clothes were lace curtains and pages torn from aging books with tea stains on them.
Her scent was that of green tea and loveliness.
Her love made him truly understand that she was the Earth, the sky, and everything in between.
Her love made him believe in starry nights and dreams come true.
Her love was natural and chaotic and serene and beautiful.
Her love was real.

Let's go ride a carpet
Over castles unimaginably vast
And maybe we'll stop on a planet
Racing through the stars so fast

Let's run through meadows of flowers
***** feet & daisies in my hair
Lay down together in the spring showers
Happy that life finally seems fair

Let's go to the ocean blue
Jumping in the waves with no regret
Swim with the mermaids, one for me and you
Telling secrets we'll never forget

Let's go on an adventure
Tell me something to think through
I honestly don't mind whatever we do
As long as I spend my days with you

My imagination runs wild with thoughts of you.
Your footsteps forever embedded in the sand of the beach that is my mind.
"Why sleep?" I used to ask myself.
Now I crave sleep, for in my dreams we can spend an eternity together.
We are not what people say we are, or what we say we are.
We are lovers, dreamers, stowaways, addicts.
We will live on and love on forever,
In our own little infinity.

There are so many times in life
When we are forced to choose
Do we help someone else win
Even if it means that we lose

For me the choice has been easy
Always fill other people with cheer
Even if the choice hurts me,
It's worth it to remove their tear.

There are times when it gets lonely
Putting others before one's self
There are times when it almost feels
Like I put my own needs on a shelf

While doing all I can for others
I try my best to never complain
But even with my best efforts
It's me that gets left out in the rain

When someone needs a friend
I'm always the one that they call
Then when they are feeling better
I'm ignored; left alone too bawl

I don't regret the things I have done
Because it helped show them I care
But sometimes it'd be nice for me
If somebody could be there

Throughout my entire life
I've been hurt putting others first
But never having the favor returned
...that is definitely the worst.
If I told you that you mean
something to me
could you open up your mind
and see yourself more clearly
don't you understand
you don't need to be royalty
you're just as great
as a new song from Demi
so let's stop pretending
that we're not who we want to be
let's start looking in the mirror
and liking who we see.
So let's stop lying to ourselves
we're just as good
as everyone else
don't let anyone bring you down
let's just paddle ahead on this ocean of emotion
and let's stay happy and not frown.
So don't let them tell you,
that you're not great
let's not be consumed
by our own hate
for the person we see,
let's decide our fate,
so don't let it bring you down
or you'll get cut
by the mirror shards on the ground,
but you're still here,
you're still around,
you're important.
So don't cry when I can't be found,
just look inside you
and hear the sound
of these words
inside you're heart
you're meaningful, important,
and if you feel sad just go back to the start,
and read this over and over again, until you understand.
I won't stop writing until you're smiling,
and only then this poem will end.
Just remember no matter what, life is only as great as you make it. : )
