So I mets this guy at the bus stop
And we gets to talkin
And he says to me

SAY

WHO ARE YA!
WHAT DO YA DO?

••

And I say

IM AN ASTROPHYSICIST

A COSMOLOGIST

••

An he says

TELL ME ABOUT THE COSMOS
TELL ME ABOUT ITS ORIGINS!

••

And I reply

I

I WILL TELL YOU WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN ME

AND WILL ACCEPT EVERYTHING I SAY AS TRUE

••

Well did he get riled up!

He said

He looked at me mouth open

Then a light shone in his eye

He said

As I told her that I don't hold any grudges to her,
I knew she was relieved,
even though she was texting me.
Now,
when I look back at it and ask myself,
am I still hurting from that incident?
And, I realize that I'm not.
I forgive you
I really do.
For,
with these three words,
I'm liberated and so are you.
This is about a different person. ( by that I mean not the one in the poem before) I'm not the kind to hold grudges.

I hear my own words
echo in my mind
it's my inner self
so blind
can I...
live with my inner self?
survive?
(I'm nor in peace or at war
I'm not covered with needles,
or belong to the beadles.)

so, i guess i could
(the fun)
(the insanity)

but i won't
I'm not one

I gave up my life for you,
But all along you unknowingly pushed me away,
Only time can heal now,
I'm afraid to this day.

people try so hard
to do well in life
we try and try
but it is a futile attempt
at achieving what society
deems to be a life.

what happened
to the days
when living
was whatever
you wanted it to be?

what happened
to the days
when we
had control
over our lives?

maybe
that’s why suicide
is committed,

it’s our last chance
to exercise
some control
over our lives,

it’s our last chance
to show society
that we own our lives.
