My only weakness is a woman
A woman is my strength
Without her I’m a half man
Longing to be full length!

A woman fills the half of me
Without her I just can’t do
Sans her I’m half empty
And know she needs me too!

Her only weakness is a man
A man is her strength
Without him she’s a half woman
Longing to be full length!

A man fills the half of her
Without me she just can’t do
Sans me she’s half empty
And knows I need her too!
Your hair was then
an ocean

Your feet
nimble emotion

Your skin
rice bran gold!

Now you’re as old

as undiminished sunrise

in my eyes.
Tones of green for envy
Red for passions fire,
Blackness for obscurity
And rougeness for desire
Yellow colours buttercups
In happiness and glee
But whiteness for the purity
of your heart's charity.
Pink depicts your girliness
Gold means you are rich
But grey brings out the trouble
When, occasionally, you're a *****,
Tangerine for tittiness
And gingerness your ****....
Oops! Now I'm in deep do-doos
For I've painted...quite enough!

Helen insisted that I post this.....
What words are
But reflection of the mind
Spoken from the heart
Not always!
Embellished with flattery
Paying obeisance to the ego
Plethora of lies
May be music to the ears
Once they set in
And it’s too late
Every word becomes lethal
Shattering confidence
Words remain words
Nothing more
But a tirade
Vitriolic moments arise

Joel M Frye
she treads unholy ground where you have faltered
shoulders broken soul to see you rise
she would kiss the sacred salted waters
seeking only sweetness from your eyes
her knees are buckling, carrying a burden
soft as love and heavier than stone
lips release a sigh that's only heard when
she feels safest, thinks that she's alone
tenderness to touch and heal the wounded
child within you hiding from the world
forgiving feet walk 'round the evil you did
bids you sleep, her arm around you curled
she's the reason flailing poets try to
grasp her gracious great unreasoned why.
Another blast from the past.

True story, word for word*

17 year old Son
calls his Mum

and says

Can you stop
at the shops,
and buy me,
a pair of thongs
and a box
of condoms
Took the call at work. So glad he is being proactive about not making me a Grandma... just wished he called his Dad instead :)
