a seven o’clock alarm, my wake up call to reality
gentle golden sunlight gleams through my window
leaving a beautiful glow that coated everything except me
i lay still as the trees dance to melodies sang by birds and sway to the whisper of the wind
for a brief moment i feel calm
i have no worries as i watch the morning bloom into the day
my alarm goes off as i awake to the sad realization that everything beautiful in my life is nothing but a dream

falling for you
stings like a mosquito
******* your strawberry blood
pumping through your veins
attempting to reach your amending heart
unsteady breaths rapidly increase
hoping this bite won't sting like the last

life is unpredictable
things don’t always go your way
you ask for a coffee with one sugar
but the barista puts in two
drinking the too sweet liquid burns
you drink it anyways

the idea of an eclipse i see once

if i’m lucky enough to be there at the right time

the image of a perfect sunset

never seen by the naked eye

engraves my mind

the silhouette of you

a rare masterpiece

hung in the back of my mind

You kiss me with such passion
leaving me breathless every time
your grasp eases my aching body
we lie still in this chaotic world

You craved my curves
while I craved your mind
that's why you were too busy ******* me to notice
that I was trying to undress your mind
