My poor, stupid poodle,
peed on the pedestal
of Cleopatra's needle
on Victoria embankment,
near the Golden Jubilee bridge.
( Oh! I am miserable!
I couldn't stop the debacle)
The poodle's puny misdeed
embarrassed not just me,
but the whole city of Westminster,
as fire alarm rang out loud,
when an overzealous constable
gave a distress signal.
It brought the fire chief himself,
who came rushing to meet
the emergency situation,
thinking the poodle was trying
to put out a fire erupted
on the ancient monument,
once shipped to England,
overcoming great adversities,
from Africa, long back.
A light hearted verse to lighten the mood in these cold days of brooding
Plant becomes a tree as it grows
But you never know..
Child becomes a mature
But you never know..
Day slides to night
Infront of your eyes
But you never know..
Changes reflect so bright
As life moves from left to right
But you never know..
All you know is
Change is permanent
With no government..
But in your profile
Its loss or profit..
Which you never know...
Is this hell?
Staring at the seat of your pants
I can see each thread of the denim.

Your deity lies on the sofa across from us;
this house is empty
except for the bed and your single barrel shotgun.

That wasn't me, I want to say;
you keep poor tempo with drums.
Is this hell?

You hold me close so I can hear you tell me
that you have to keep me away;
I saw your naked body by the knives.

This is hell;
we were going to have chicken tonight;
a one night stand salad of condoms.

I saw your naked body in the knives,
your naked body,
and the knives,

and a wild hog as I chased you down the road
as you drive off with your deity on the front seat,
and this is hell, I say,

this is hell,
and your naked body,
and the knives...
A Dream about the River Euphrates.

As far as the eye can see.
Sandy beaches, reeds along the River’s shores, widely stretched out sand coloured  rock formations, plain desert grounds.
Lone palm trees rise up just as other vegetation randomly sown, throughout the landscape.
Just one soul behold this beauty.
His sapphire waters gently flow.
Shining  brightly with dazzling radiance.
Changing colour into a clear emerald translucency.
The scent of his liquid embrace fills the heart’s desire to Love.
Afloat on Euphrates’  whispering stream.
Warm, soft and smoothly.
Blissfully.
Is it me who is that lost soul?
It seems it is.
It feels that way.
Time, space…. they seem to have vanished , they are just absent.
Just  being there together.
Mighty Euphrates, beckoning  to enter into his soft waves…
Sensing Euphrates’ sweet caress while the  heart unfolds.
His waters softly cuddling.
Feeling  his soul –healing powers.
He could drown me, take my life….
But he does not.
Weightlessly floating through his  tranquil, bright emerald.
Golden rays of sunlight enter the realm of his translucent flow of life.
As body and soul surrender ….
Unclad as on the first day….
Euphrates’  sweet caress …my soul breaks adrift.
Walking along the bank
    of the  prancing village brook,
lined with screwpines
in full bloom spreading
                  musky scent
and shamelessly imitating the color of  your skin,
thinking of you all along,
on the way to Krishna temple
you frequent,
I see a surge-
a bevy of giggling village belles,
your ***** friends,
march forward,
holding the hearts of young men to ransom,
teasing me on the sly,
for courting you so ardently.
Who can stop them,
a barrage breach of
Cupid's darlings,
tailing me by chance.

   My eyes searched everywhere,
but but missed you so much,
     today they miss,
the crown jewel they deserve,
to be in the middle,
that can be only you always!

On the imaginary crown of them
you would have shone,
added charm and embellished
their victory lap,
in the guise of temple visit,
to worship the Lord, lover nonpareil,
whose love life is our lore.

              On long black tresses
they wore garlands of jasmine,
    can't help pity their haste
and muddled taste,
you would have told your brood,
how jasmine would have felt,
unless perfectly adorned on hair, those
incomparable blessing in fragrance.
"Like a lily among thorns, so is my darling among the maidens"
Song of songs (2:2)
It had been given
In an instance
With your first breath
then cry of life.
Not to be the last
Of the tears that life would ensue.
Life would turn to be rebellious
In a rally against you in a moment,
Cheering you on in the next.
Standing beside you
In every second
That would mean the world,
Or nothing at all.
You are that person
The one that is beside you
Not to say no one else is to matter
But you will make the difference
In the way you are to yourself
Whether you are pulled from the wreckage
Or left to slowly die
The decision will always be yours.
Never to say
The hand was forced
In the decision you had to make
You are always the one
And all fate is yours to change.
Remember in this life
When the angry scream in your face
Will you give them what is yours?
And let them take your sanity
Along with your mind
To be consumed with their last words
As it plays over in your head
And you wish on things that were not spoken.
Remember in that moment
It was you that was taken
There work was now done
And you are left in the confusion
Will you be able to amend yourself?
And know that it is nothing?
That you were never
The description they painted.
And in your mind
Know yourself well
Because you will always be the one
That Day was the most dreadning one for my life..
Just had a few hours with my grand mum that night..

Can’t forget the lasting impression of her’s on my fingers which made some marks light..
When she held my hand with her’s very tight..

She was breathing hard and looking above as if wanted to fight back to live..
But don’t know why god left just life for her to give..

That divine personality won’t ever blur away from my mind..
To have her for some more years was actually what  I wished from inside..

But came to know the fact that no one can overlook what is destined..
But I’ll always regret for it as she was the best reason why my father smiled..

Would now just say that my dear grand mum u will always be remembered through the forthcoming years..
May be sometimes by happiness on our faces or may be sometimes with tears..
For my grand mum who is not there with us but she would always be cherished in our memories..
We all really miss you..
With sudden fury, madness rang through the air
just then a flock of glorious birds
so free in bluest skies, flew by
and we away with them
Now gone from sight
our earthly bodies,
become winged spirits
angels taking flight
I fell in love with you all over again. .

Whenever my heart skips a beat on your memory. .
I fell in love with you all over again. .!

Whenever things go wrong,
and I see you standing by my side. .
with all your strength,
I fell in love with you all over again.  .!

Whenever you walk beside me. .
and give a look which says. .
"I won't ever walk away from you. ."
I fell in love with you all over again. .!

Whenever I look down the memory lane. .
each moment enlightens a chain of memoirs. .
and an irresistible smile embraces my lips. .
I fell in love with you all over again. .!

Whenver I ponder over over the reason of my existence. .
Your innocent face tickles my thougts. .
and then. .
I fell in love with you all over again. .!!!
