Bindings

When anger, rivalry & jealousy
Fade away we are left
With only deep-seated love
And with the DNA that binds us.

This could be about families or even humanity.

Go now,
I set you on your wobbly way
On rubber-legs that sway,
On tiny feet on which you play.

"Go now, little one" I say,
"One day, it will not be for mere play.
You will go and be on your way,
My darling."
