WIKI: Magdalena-Anca Mircea (14 July 1967 – 14 July 2010),[5] better known by her stage name Mădălina Manole, was a Romanian pop recording artist.

Madalina was found dead by her husband at their house in the early morning of July 14, 2010, her 43rd birthday, after an apparent suicide. She allegedly caused her own death by drinking nearly half a litre of carbofuran.[25] [Carbofuran is one of the most toxic carbamate pesticides. It is marketed under the trade names Furadan, by FMC Corporation and Curaterr 10 GR, by Bayer, among several others]

Due to fact that she killed herself, she received only a shorter religious burial service, outside the church.[26]

Mădălina is buried at the Bolovani cemetery in Ploieşti. The funeral was attended by about 40,000 people.[25][27]
