Emma
after you touched me
my confidence lasted
a full day

softly...
your hand was warm

it was just a brush by, really

and it wasn't even a soft spot

just exposed.

I want to mix with you still
leave cool spots on your cheeks
softly...
drip down your legs.

the air would be yellow sun around our heads

We drown so many hours
of each day
by dreaming with our eyes open.
Knowing ... Knowing
that day dreaming is for those,
who lack conviction,
lack the drive to live those dreams
to clear the haze from their vision
and truly be creative.

"think outside the box"
?
what a cliche sentiment.

Think outside,
the parameters of yourself.
There is no "Box"
to contain imagination.
That's why 5 year olds
can turn a box into a world.
A world of turtles ... transformers
super heroes or even just ...
a box to hide in & try and scare you.

BOO!
day dreaming again?

With a pad and a pen
my dreams live in words
walking along the blue lines
trying to arrange themselves correctly
before they stop to rest ...
forever.
Because once I'm finished
dreaming on the page
my conviction continues to lack itself.

Imagination
Inspiration
Solemn creation
Dreaming away.

Drift on a dream,
Stitches and seems
hopes and moon beams
in hearts they will stay

Flow from your mind,
the dreams of this kind.
Beauty and art
are the soul of this world.

Echoes and silence
simple things
Are all we need to
sew angle wings.

Wind in the trees
deep ocean breeze
float on a dream,
the slate is now clean.

Angle of mine
Heart is so kind
Willows that weep
My hopes will keep,

Flow from they lungs
sing to the sun
It sets on this tale
my dream sky now pale

Forever we hope
Forever we dream
Image, inspire
of love we don't tire...

-After Diana-
The paparrazi are nobody's friend
It all seems such a pity
He shouldn't have trained his big long lens
On her poor little Bristol Cities

-After Maggie-
When the daisies push up with Maggie beneath
To mark her grave will be taking a chance
For some may come to lay a wreath
But others will come to dance

-After the war-
The Argentine girl was all smiles
All went well between us
I didn't mention the Falkland Isles
And she didn't say Las Malvinas
