the sun has got his hat on spring is on the way
sending down his rays to keep the rain at bay
warming up the ground for the plants to grow
sending out his warmth  so all the floods will go
ready for the spring sending down his light
to make a flower show to fill us with delight
i looked out  the window on a  spring time morn
flowers waking up as they see the dawn.

birds begin to sing to brighten up the day
telling us that spring is truly on the way.

daffodils are blooming standing so upright
with there golden flowers  bringing such delight.

the sun begins to shine sending down its ray
bringing lots of happiness on a spring time day
you never see a rainbow unless there has been rain
you never see a heartbreak unless there has been pain.

you never see round corners or see around a bend
you never know how long it takes for a broken heart to mend.

you never know what tomorrow brings you have to wait  and see
you never know what life  will do so what must be must be
when the sun comes out and brightens up the day
it brings a happy feeling and takes the blues away
gives your heart a lift fills you with delight
making life feel happy very gay and bright

makes you want to smile brings you happiness
helps you to relax and takes away the stress
makes you want sing makes you want shout
makes your life worth living when the sun is out
there was a  little elephant he stopped for a drink
when  something in the water made him turn to pink
he was very sad he had lost his grey
something in the water had taken it away.

he called upon is friend an owl so very wise
when he saw his color could not believe his eyes
the owl he made a potion to take the pink away
and restore his color and give him back his grey.

elephant he was glad and grey again once more
happy and content like he was before
Sitting alone on the park bench

watching the sun set,

While feeling all alone

a beautiful stranger i met.

He said his name was Johnny

he already knew my name

Johnny was so perfect

with him, it just wasnt the same.

Johnny’s eyes were lovely

a darkened shade of brown

Johnny was there for me

with him i never wore a frown

Johnny drowned my sorrows

and johnny loved me so

johnny was so perfect

he promised he’d never let me go

whenever i felt alone

and so out of place

johnny was beside me

told me “dont give up this race”

Im so much happier now

i have somewhere i belong

Johnny is my voice

my strength to keep me strong

Johnny would hold me

when i’d start to cry,

when darkness had me surrounded

Johnny was my sky

sitting on the park bench

Im feeling all alone

I cannot find my johnny

he isnt there at home.

I called out to johnny

but the park was very quiet

I was crying now

and johnny didnt hear my plight

Johnny where are you?

Where did you disappear?

Johnny i cant find my way,

why did you leave me here?

People passed me by

staring at my face

No sign of my johnny

Not a single trace.

The dawn of truth struck me

shattering me like glass

i entered into the real world

dreamworld wouldnt last

Johnny was my imagination

johnny was from my mind

and while i was lost in dreamworld

to reality i was blind.

There never was a stranger

I was all alone,

still sitting on the park bench

far away from home.

see johnny didnt leave me

nor did he stop to care

while i was sitting on that park bench

a “johnny” was never there…

Words have power
They can reveal
our desires
They can be weapons
that tear another down
They can bring joy
and lift another's spirit
They can be used
to form laws
and bring justice
They can spread love
build empires
bring forth destruction
So choose your words wisely
Words have power

~

On this silent beach,
sunset emotions filter a bashful skyline

We watch…poetry written in the sand
slowly eclipsed by a drowsy tide,
sea foam whispers erasing words
of deepest love

Minute granules float somber
neath aquamarine sighs

You fill my arms
upon moistened shores,
velvet lips satisfy my thirst
as warm salt water tingles
gently frame our bodies,
drenched in the moment

My eyes immerse in this beauty
which saturates me

Two souls, a lone silhouette
casting waves of rhythmic
yearnings on a desolate strand,
passion glistens
of moonbeam blushes
and forever promises
*are kept
Dreaming...they can come true...right?
He was big and fat.
He was black and white.
He was the best cat ever.

He loved to snuggle with you.
Even if he didn't know you.
He loved being brushed.

He was so cute and cuddly.
I loved My little kitty.
But he is now in kitty heaven.
My cats name was ******. Mommy and daddy told me he passed away and went to kitty heaven. I miss my kitty!!!!!!
