Warrior
Wage war at the edge of your universe.
At the very brink of your existence,
Ignite the shards of your time-crackened soul;
With a smile.

Wage war against all that defy you;
But only after you've bested all your selves; You've one.
Any yet, be not as righteous as a saint,
Such egotism should be beyond you.

Wage war that ends in peace everlasting.
And yet spill not a drop of true blood.
Wage war at the tip of a pencil,
A brush, a strum of a guitar,
A sigh of a lover.

Until all that you are is laid bare
And, having felt the only victory there ever was;
To be, absolutely, the sum of your potentials,
You greet the Reaper with a handshake,
Together, past the dusk of your life, unto a slumber long deserved.
