'Twas March of 1958
A babe arrived, a heavyweight
As babies go he was first-rate
Really worth the nine months wait
A child so fair, so good, so bonnie
Our fourth born child, we named him  Ronnie
Oer the years we watched him grow
A loving child, we loved him so
So strong, so sweet, unlike any other
A loving son, a loyal brother
he's grown from such a special lad
to a quite extraordinary dad.
It's been apparent from the start
he has an extra roomy heart
Full of giving, always sharing
towards others he is more than caring
So raise your glasses
and give some cheers
to celebrate his forty years.
We arrived back home
carrying treasured memories of a blessed journey
tired and weary, glad to be  back home.
Janet said,"I will kiss the ground when we
get back to the USA"
I stepped off the bus
and there, standing in the darkness
with flowers and teddy bear in hand
and his "heart on his sleeve" stood Bill,
not at all a figment of my imagination.
I did not kiss the ground,
I kissed my sweet William.

Little dove
brought down by mans desire
to hurt
so tender a heart
of one so beautiful

her once gentle wings
now lay beneath her body

broken by her fall
by his deceitful lies
that stole from her her purity...

River otter weeps at sight of one so pained
his tears cleansing the wounds
anothers words
had caused

his touch comforting
easing her fears
as he uplifted with care what hate
cast down

he tendered to her night and day
and with kisses
healed
her wings allowing once more
her heart to soar...

Little dove flew far from him
weeping
fearing to stay
for fear he too would hurt her

or worse

she would hurt him in return...

but return she must
for she would rather know just one more day
within his arms
than a life time of doubt and regret.

So a while back my friend told me
'You're analytically minded'
Until then I hadn't really seen it
But from then on, I couldn't see
Anything but it
It's like before then my brain only
Analysed whatever was fed in
But now, now it does that
As well as analysing the analytical process
My brain seems to absorb quirky habits
From others more readily now too
I read a book about a nerdy boy
Who loves math, anagrams, and Katherines
All of a sudden I start anagramming
Everything
I saw a vihart video on tesselations
And another on fractals
This reminded me of the Fibonacci sequence
And Sierpinski's triangle(which two friends
Claim is
'A tri-force made up of tri-forces, made of tri-forces!')
Now I'm in love with all four again
And a bunch of random
Mathematical things too
