The light shines in
As the window creeks open
The wind hits my face
Darling, where have you been?

The lonely days I've spent
Longing after you
Leave an aching in my soul
And searching for the truth

What other soul has grabbed your attention?
Has my memory withered away?
Was this always your intention?
To abandon me someday?

My being is only half without you
You're nowhere to be found
So I'll sit here, half a heart,
Until you come around
As the dirt and rain,
become part of my outfit.
I stand up in great trance.
The deep vibrations around me,
seem to interact with souls
of beings all over who
come "home" for reasons
such as mine, and that keep them
coming back to play.
The booming echo of haunting
animal's skin creeps up
over the trees and hills.
Howling the insane
breathing green fire.
Brings comfort and wholeness
to the purpose in which
we have united today.
Sharing more than melodies,
seeing more than what meets
the eye of the storm in this
controlled chaotic world.
I then slip into a realm
that keeps nothing masked.
Smoke rises as
ashes fall upon the
tan freckled shoulders
of  real lifetime bonds.

There is no question,
And no questioning.
When the celestial forces command,
You must obey.

They stand greater than you,
Larger, taller.
The large will pick upon the small.
So bow and be meek.

You must do as they say.

Check the heavens every darkness,
Look for the messages they send to you,
Written out in stars, far above.

These pinpricks,
Breaking the black, giving light,
Look peaceful, beautiful, from here,
But closer to the burning ball of fire,
I'm sure the beauty is harder to behold.

And so we move ever forward,
Urged further, further,
By all that is bigger than ourselves.
Coerced into continual mobility.

Remember how we floated that night?
Minds pulling up their anchors,
And allowing free motion;
An escape from the docks that are our bodies.
The solid encasement of ourselves left alone for a while,
As the stars invited us in.

We were friends and clung to each other in our journey.
Distancing the impending reality.
Separating ourselves from the surrounding truths we’d never really believed.

We flew,
And we swam,
And we were.
Drifting in eternity.
Aware of those around us,
But happy for the moment in oursleves.

Do you remember how we were?
So content in our secret movement.
Releasing our beings,
Freely,
Gladly,
Relenting control.

That night when we floated.
And we were together.

Remember how we were happy.

My soul is ancient.
And it is not mine.
In darkest reaches of my heart I am told I do not own it.
I am impermanent.
I feel interminable.
My soul reaches to those around it,
But finds little kinship.
This soul and I are locked together
Out of time and place,
We are anachronisms.
You have seen us before.
I am fine.

Today is fine.
Hello world,
I'm glad to see you
Now that I
Know how to smile.

I'm happy.

Maybe today
I'll win the lottery.
Gotta test my luck.
How great to
Take that money home.

Before I lose
Everything, I love you.

Did
You know
I always will?
Now the day is up,
Goodnight.
